I think some babies just feel insecure in such a big space, A loved it and slept so much better in his cot bed than he ever had in his crib, but he's a proper wriggler and I think he needed the space, but I have heard of other bubs who hate the big cots.

You may get more use out of a space saver cot, I know someone who got the one from Kiddicare, think it's around £60, Ikea do small cots too for around £40, so may be an idea?

We're good, I learned today that I must keep the lid on the toilet down now, when I looked in and he happily had his hand in the bowl. Vile little creature.

Yes its a cotbed gilly, its very big and she looks like a pea on a drum when she's in it! Her Grandad bought it for her when she was in hospital, i had no input in which one she got, i probably wouldn't have gotten such a big one! I might look into a swinging crib maybe, i thought using the gro bag would help make her feel secure. Hope your ok gilly.x

I doubt you live near me but we have a mothercare swinging crib that we are looking to sell.

Aiden just preffered the basket and outgrew it before we could really use it, it was used twice in total lol. I am in Staffordshire if you are near at all?! X

Thanks gilly, will have a look at kiddicare, hubby will have a fit if i say we need another cot, will probably just buy without telling him, he's still getting over me buying the new pram!! Lovely news about A and the toilet, sounds like he's really keeping you on your toes! I thought i had my work cut out with poppy rolling all over the place, caught her today trying to suck one of my dogs ears, he didn't seem to mind!!

Thanks for the offer but i'm in Lancashire so not close at all, never mind! We've def had very good use out of her moses basket, my mum was joking before that she'll still be in it when she's 18!!

Its odd that she will only nap in my bed which is a king size and obviously much bigger than her cot, yet won't sleep in her cot at night!

  • Oh, no change for me weight wise. Not bad considering I had a KFC and a pub meal at the weekend. Must try harder this week though.

They are funny aren't they!! Aiden loves to to nap on our bed but only in the morning after his bottle about 645ish....any other time and he won't!

Hope you manage to get something for Poppy. Will she lie in the cot and just play?

Think it was you also Jannine who read the fifty shades? Finally on the last book now! I hope they make a film, I imagine him to look like Bradley Cooper!? Although my friend thinks he would look like some guy from the fast and furious films!!!

    Xx

They all seem to have their own funny little habits!! Yes she will lie in:A it and play with her teddy's, she enjoys sticking her legs through the bars! I just can't get her to sleep in it!

Yes it was me who read the fifty shades books, can't wait for the films, though don't know who i'll go to the cinema with as none of my friends like the books and there is no chance of hubby coming with me!!

I'd quite happily go back to the rolling stage now, I loved when he couldn't move much, now I feel like I need eyes in the back of my head and coming out my a$$ honestly. I'm going grey with him. He's hard work :o but worth it!
