    Hi all

    Hope babies slept well :D
We have a Sophie here too but Noah doesn't show that much interest anymore! Maybe once he starts teething.

Just off to baby group in a mo.
Well done to you all on your weight loss.

    Xx

  • Ugh I am pinned to the sofa with Reuben, as he screams when I put him down. If I just readjust myself he starts because he thinks I'm going to put him down. Thank god for sky plus!! Wish I knew what was wrong with him though, as this is overly-clingy for him.

Sammie hope you have fun at baby group :)

Yay! Finally found a nappy which doesn't leak (so far). Pampers Active Fit Size 3. I'd rejected Active Fit so far because I reasoned that he can't actually move yet. Until I thought about how much he pumps his little legs. That's pretty active :D

Touch wood there are no more morning poonamis. He's trashed every one of his sleepsuits although I will say... sunlight's a great bleach! They come out of the machine with stains on them, dry them on the line and the stains are gone :)

  • Fluff hopefully you have managed to save yourself some washing!!

My poor little Reu is so miserable, and dribbling everywhere, Sophie is getting some serious action this morning, and he also calms down when I rub his bottom gums. I know they are still a while off yet, but i am not looking forward to teeth and BFing!!

That's what made my SIL stop; when my nephew bit her! Ouch. Freddie already occasionally clamps down with his gums and that's painful enough. If he had teeth I think I'd hit the ceiling. :D

  • we always use pampers fluffnuter and fingers crossed so far we've never really had any problems although i try to get them when they are on offer or at costco. Speaking of which has anyone been to asda to see if they can get any post baby event bargains?, every event i say i will and never do, knowing my luck i would drive out there and there will be no reductions.

  • Also turtlemoose, it was ds 2 teeth that caused me to stop bf. the first time he bit me i ignored it the second i decided that it hurt a bit too much!

  • Hmm I ended up buying 48 packs of Johnson wipes (50p a pack) in clearance stock at the end of the last asda baby event, I still have millions left when added to the 18 other freebie packs I had!!

As for nappies, it's Aldi's Mamia all the way here.

I intend to bf for a year (and hopefully a freezer stash to keep us going a bit beyond that), so will defo have to tackle teeth at some point!!

I wonder if he's a bit clingy as its the first day just me and him for over a week now. We have been bed sharing every night because I just missed him so much in the day time....but now this week I want to get back in to our normal "playing, pooing and eating", as sammie put it!! :D
