  • Afternoon all,
I'm sat under a baby so thought I'd pop on and say hi.
Turtlemoose I love the nursing vacation idea, I'll have to remember that in a few weeks time. Hope you're having a nice weekend after the stressful week.
Jen hope LO settles soon, sounds like you've had lots of great advice so I'm noting it all down. Try and stick with the bf. we've had a couple of days with two hourly day feeds and I'm quite sore so can't imagine how you must feel. Just try and make sure you look after yourself too eating and drinking plenty. I'm sure lots of,people have told you the same thing.
Sammie hope you've got your pushchair and OH isnt too grumpy and hungover.

Here we went to car boot today got a couple of toys for bubs. Probably need a few months before he can play, just on of those coloured rings stacks and a pull along dogs. Then we've all napped as a certain little man thought it was playtime between 2:30-6am hmm! Is quiet on here so hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Freddie's six week growth spurt has lasted from birth until now and is still going strong. All that boy does is eat and shit, often simultaneously. :D

  • It is quiet on here!! Not had SS this weekend, second time ever, so me and OH (and R) had a lie in until 11:30 on sat, then went mooching round Birmingham, and finished off with a pub dinner. Lovely day. We still haven't resolved any issues, as he won't voluntarily talk and I didn't bring it up because I was focussing on the tribunal. I intend to book in talking for maybe tuesday night, if I can face it. I just can't leave it all unresolved and we need to decide, our tenancy agreement is up end of nov so really need to know now I we are looking for places together or apart.

Wanted to go to an nct nearly new sale yesterday but forgot, only remembered when it had already finished, doh! Got some charity shop bargains instead, including a winter coat for R that still has the shop tags on for £3.99 :money:

What's everyone else been up to?

    Hello ladies :)

Quiet day here - did a bit of shopping, but nothing exciting, just nappies and some food. About to go for a walk with LO - she's currently rolling around on a duvet on the floor making happy sounds and chewing on Sophie! She's been in a really good mood today - it seems the worst of her cold is over.

Turtle, sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday - shame about the NCT sale, but charity shop bargain sounds good.

    LMM, Zachary is so cute!

Jen, hope you and your nipples are OK! :)

Hope everyone else is well and enjoying their Sundays x

Nutella, I must have missed an important post of yours... this is not the first time I've thought this... who is Sophie? Your daughter? Your dog? I've got visions of your baby chewing her sibling...:o

Sophie is a giraffe teething toy fluff as long as I'm not mistaken.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • Sophie gets a lot of attention in my house, Reu is rather fond of the bent knee on the frontmost leg, gummy heaven for him! Either that or he likes to suck her face :rotfl:

Sophie is amazing. One of the bet things we've bought.

  • We've got a Sophie too. Not tried it out yet though.
Fluff I'm very impressed that Z can multitask with eating/pooing at the same time, didn't think males could multitask!

I tried out my new pump and got just over 40mls so excited! :j yep I need to get out more don't I?

Fluff, hope the previous posts have put your mind at rest! I wouldn't let my daughter chew on anything that's alive :) Sophie's fab though - front leg and face are firm favourites here too, although sometimes LO attempts to attack sideways (neck or legs), which never works and always ends in tears.
