Morning
I can beat that I'm afraid - LO's kept me awake since 4amYAWN.... But until then she'd slept pretty well, only waking up at midnight for a feed, so I'm not feeling too bad. Yet.
Have a good day all x0 -
Morning everyone! Slightly better night here, up every 1 1/2 hours...
DH came home after 2 nights away at a conference and was complaining about how tiring it was. I'd be thrilled to get two nights of relaxation without housework and baby feeding, but with bf'ing I know that's not going to happen for a while. Maybe April if my abstract gets accepted for one in Scotland!
Glad things went better for you yesterday turtle, hope today is a good one for you x0 -
Not sure who suggested I should get checked over to make sure there wasn't a medical reason for me losing weight, but blood tests came back all normal. So that's good but not sure how I can eat more than I am already! We have full fat cows milk for Elliot's cereal so I'm having that in tea too, and adding a little to my normal 1% milk on cereal, but otherwise everything we eat is full fat already.
Had a delicious stuffed marrow last night for tea. We haven't got much off our allotment as it was our first year, and it was all grassy, but the neighbours who have a bit more to spare are happily distributing their veg around. I thought it'd be a bit of a boring meal, but it was surprisingly tasty, and even better Elliot will eat marrow!0 -

Think that was me as my friends weight loss after baby was overactive thyroid. Good news you have the all clear though.
Maybe your metabolism has just sped up?! Sounds like you eat very healthy food either wayx

Hi all,
Turtle hope today goes well and you find out the result soon.
Hugs to all those with teething and not sleeping babies. Wasn't too bad here woke twice in the night then again just before 7 so got up then.
Safesound sorry to hear about the baby group. I'm worried about going to ones here. Am waiting for my fiend to have her baby then were going together.
Am going to a breast feeding group this pm. It's kind of a drop in thing I think where there's health visitors and peer supporters. Not really sure what to expect.
Oh no I hear suspicious grunting and other noises coming from the Moses basket..... Yep somebody is awake!:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Turtlemoose - glad yesterday went a bit better for you. Hope the next couple if days go super quick so you can relax a bit.
Safesound - Shame about the baby group, I have found a really nice one I take Noah too so don't give up on them. I have been to a few where people are already in their groups as such and have felt like a donut being there on my own but there are also some really good ones. Fingers crossed you find one you feel comfortable at.
Its a shame we don't all live nearby as we could start our own baby group!!
Noah is napping so my plans are to tidy the house and try to change gas/electric company for a cheaper tariff not sure what luck I'll have but going to give it ago now the cold weather is setting in
Sunshine - I think it was you who said they had their heating on yesterday. I don't blame you I was freezing but we are on key meters (hence trying to change to direct debit) we spent £10 every 3 days last winter so I don't like using mine

LOL, I'd be scared of going to a baby group if there was a fiend there
Our heating came on this morning. We are just switching tarrifs now, it's bad that coming off our last fix, it's going to go up in price. hopefully useage won't be as high this year though. Having the heating on all the time due to Elliot being very little all through the snow in February was horribly expensive. I miss our old house - £36 gas and electric combined each month. now we're paying omre than double that...
Just tried putting a Dangermouse DVD on. Elliot enjoyed it for about 5 mins then shuffled off to eat the fireplace again.0 -
Lol hopefully she won't turn out to be a fiend!!
OH put our heating on this morning. I think I'm still feeling hot from pregnancy. I worry about bubs being warm enough though. According to our gas bill we're quite a bit in credit so hopefully will be ok for the winter. Our old house was very cheap to heat too one of the few perks of living there though!:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j
