  • I was up at 6am too to feed Niall. We went to bed at 9pm last night dh got Niall to sleep in about 20mins sometimes it takes us 3hours! Was up at 12am and 4am for feeds so not too bad.

More smiles from Niall, dh doesnt believe me as he hasn't seen yet. Just been sorting through his 3-6m clothes to see what I have, tonnes of sleep suits, cardys but only one vest. Have a box of clothes to go through which my sister gave me, her boys have grown out of them.

Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday's, it's supposed to be really hot here.

    Morning

Sunshine - that will definitely teach him not to stay in bed (or at least hide your debit cards before bed!!) hope you find some bargains.

Laura - yay for Niall settling easier last night, it used to take ages to get Noah settled when he was tiny and I felt like I lost my evenings as I would end up falling asleep too!! Now he goes into his cot awake, has a chat with his cot mobile then goes straight to sleep!!

Lovely day here so need to wash and dry all the uniform ready for tomorrow when we get home.

Afternoon ladies... Bit tired today.. Yesterday's hot weather kept Amira awake last night... She seemed to be grumbling all night even when asleep and woke every 3 hrs! She normally sleeps from 7-1 or 3 on a good night. Hoping it was a one off lol!
It's so hard trying to keep room cool.. We'd curtains shut all day and two fans going and kept her clothing to a minimum but it was still hot.

Laura .. Well done on getting Niall down hope it's start of a pattern/ routine!

Having a lazy day at home today as its still hot here.
Attempted my pumping.... Managed half an ounce :-(
Not sure it was worth faffing around with pump and steriliser until I saw look in hubby's face as he fed her what I'd managed to express... PRICELESS!:)

Afternoon ladies :). Bit quiet on here today

Well done on the pumping Jen, it gets easier the more you do it.

We went to the carboot today, didn't get much just a couple of toys for £1 each, a fabric book thing for him and a couple of sleep suits, but I must have picked up the wrong pile of sleep suits when they gave me my change as I managed to come away with newborn instead of 3-6, so they're completely useless :(. Still, he likes his toys so that's good.

Hope everyone's having a good day in the sun

Very quiet on here today ladies, hopefully all having a relaxing Sunday afternoon!

I've had a very grumpy little girl today, took her to Blackpool lights last night and we didn't get home until gone 1.00am!! The traffic on the motorway was beyone horrendous, they was very bad fog and an accident! We are only 40 minutes away from Blackpool and it took 3 hours to get home! Luckily Poppy slept most of the time but was wide awake when I carried her to her room! She took ages to settle and made me realise how important an early bedtime is and a settled routine! That's the last late night for a while!

Got the HV coming round in the morning for a check up on Poppy and her development, only saw the Consultant on Thursday and he's happy so not sure what the point is really!

    xx

    Evening everyone

Jannine - what a nightmare being stuck in traffic :( I notice a difference in Noah when he isn't in his normal routine too.

Katiechoc - what a shame you picked up the wrong size but look on the bright side you can always keep them for your next baby!! ;)

Noah has just had his bath and is now in his jumperoo, he looks absolutely worn out bless him!! I think it will be a bottle and bed pretty soon!!
