    Evening all,

Thanks for the poop advice, we've had 5 greenies today! The hv said as long as he's happy in himself to not worry. Easy for her to say, she's not the one having to clean up after it all the time :rotfl: George now weighs 15lb8, following the 50th line almost perfectly.

Well done rose on standing up!

Hope the tribunal goes ok turtle, at least if you know R is happy with his childminder it's one less thing to worry about at the time.

Let us know how the swimming goes nutella and janine! Are you doing lessons or just taking them to the open sessions?

I took Rose swimming, with another MSE'r. It was a lot of fun, and the lady taking the class stressed repetition and triggers.... For example, when we do underwater, it's 1,2,3 squeeze under arms, down and lift up again. The class was fun, and I've remembered parts of it, but when I take Rose swimming I hold her loosely now and let her explore. The very first time in the pool we did little else than sit in the shallow ends for a bit and let her splash around. Big tip is make it fun for baby.

Evening ladies, I have a poop question for you - baby poop, not mine :rotfl:

George has done two really green ones today, not just a hint of green, really and truly green. Any ideas? He's fine in himself and is feeding like normal, wet nappies like normal...possible allergy/intolerance to something I've eaten? (completely bf at the moment). I've been rackingmy brain but I'm sure I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary recently.

As i think has been said, Green poop is mostly likely a milk imbalance. Try block feeding for a while, so at a feed always feed first from the boob you fed from last. That makes sure he is getting the rich fatty milk each time, and not just lots of foremilk. If the green poo persists for more than a couple of days after starting block feeding, then do get it checked as it can more rarely be a sign of a gut infection.

Lirin - yay for Rose standing up :j

Had a quiet day in today, had a mummy friend and her little girl come round which was nice :D we were planning in going for a walk in the woods again tonight but ds1 has managed to split his school trousers after only 2 days back so had to get him some more trousers instead!!

Thanks gilly, I'll try block feeding for a bit. I just read online that if it goeson for 24 hours or more you should get it checked out, but the hv didn't say anything like that! I'll see how it is tomorrow and maybe take him in on Thursday if it's still not right.

    Hope you're ok Toniq?

I'm off to bed soon, shattered today. Been over at the in laws, went out for a walk with oh carrying G in the baby bjorn but it got so hot he ended up howling all the way home and I felt awful for taking him out :(. He's fine now, been giggling his little head off this afternoon so I guess I'm forgiven.
