Gilly - I feel for you with baby not sleeping in the day, my ds1 was a little bit older then Aaron when he stopped napping and like you said I felt I had no time to myself to get things done. Is that a full height window in your lounge? I bet it's lovely and light in your house with windows that big!! Xx

My OH isn't too bad, but I feel I put a lot of pressure on myself to have things done, purely because he works and I don't? So if Aaron doesn't nap, I really struggle and then I do feel bad asking for help at night but I'm pooped :(

Yeah full length windows, floor to ceiling. We live slap bang in the middle of the city centre though so lovely and light, but you get some sights I tell you :rotfl: :D

Ooh I'm jealous of your windows!! (not at the not nice sights though!!)

I'm a sahm Gilly and feel I need to get everything done for when dp gets home too. I have come to realise no matter how much I get done in the day though I still don't get to sit down until 8ish in the evenings. Noah can't move anywhere yet so I can get on a bit but when he starts crawling............................

    Gilly love the video :j

Been to get Reuben weighed today as when we went last week they weren't happy. They said go back in two weeks, but we'll be on holiday so took him to a different clinic as today is 9 days later. He's put on 7 oz in that time so they are happy with his weight, such a relief as I've been worrying about it. He's now 12lb 5....no wonder I get an arm ache carrying him around nowadays!!

Egg chips and beans sounds yummy!!

I love our apartment, we pay over the odds for it though, I know if we moved to the suburbs we'd pay less a month and have an extra bedroom and a garden, but I'm just not ready to make that move yet really and I'm not sure where we plan on living atm so it's all a bit up in the air.

It's a nightmare when they start moving, he's actually really good natured if I let him crawl and climb and cruise around, but sometimes I just can't, and he just screams if I put him in his cot, was thinking playpen but when I tried him in one at MIL he hated it, so I don't know what to do :( he's in his cot at the moment, has been for 50 minutes, as he is sooooo tired, his eyes are red and sore looking and he is just screaming his head off :( his throat sounds sore, I keep going back and forward but he won't calm down :(

I'm glad they are pleased this time with Reuben's weight. Noah is 16lb now!!

Well I've upset ds1!! I was winding him up by telling him I was going to his next school disco with him to show all his friends how well i can dance and he got angry, called me a freakin' dweeb and has stormed off upstairs.....whoops!!

Lol sammie you're so mean ....keep up the good work :rotfl:

This was a different (and much nicer) clinic so I think I'll just stick with this one and miss baby group once a month for it.

Oh and our passports are coming tomorrow....we leave for our hol early hours of Sunday morning, talk about cutting it fine!!!!! But at least we will definitely have them, ive been so worried about it, that's a confirmed appointment from e courier ...shame it's 9 to 5! I normally join Reuben in his morning snooze (he's late to bed but late to rise) til about 10-11 ish but tomorrow I will be waiting by the front window in anticipation!!!

Have washed all of Reuben's 3-6 month clothes today (its all second hand) as I had a clear out of current stuff and basically the only thing that fits him still are his t shirts and 2 pairs of soft trousers, eek!! He can still fit in his vests but only using an extender, but even with it they are now snug. He seems to stay the same size for ages then literally overnight he's bigger, I'm sure!!!
  • Thanks for all the support re breast feeding/nappy changing in public. Me & dh are taking short trips out so I feel more confident going out with Niall. Just back from town got some paint to do hand/foot prints plus a nursing bra as have jut been using sleep bras.

My dad has lent me his iPad much easy to get online when Niall is breast feeding.

Laura - Niall is just a bit younger than my baby. I've just started venturing out too. From the bit of experience i have had bf out in public no one really bats an eye lid. I was also concious of doing so at first but with having a baby who constantly wants to bf its better than having him screeming.

I think we have a tooth coming through - red bump on gums, feels slightly jagged there, hell breaking loose.... this shouldn't be allowed - she's meant to teethe LATE being prem - not flipping EARLY!

I have very long hair (past my waist). I've been debating whether to get a load lopped off as I'm starting to look like an extra in Harry Potter as some old witch.

Freddie's just vommed all over it - my mind is now made up.
