Little Moog. Sadly, any nappy that will last the night will takes ages to dry. Its just the downfall really if it takes a long time to soak through, on the flipside itl take a while to dry. I know bamboozles are quicker drying than little lamb bamboo. Id say fwt a few more bamboozles and just go with it they are a fab nappy for night.

I know of people who will use a pocket nappy at night and just stuff with bamboo and hemp boosters. Id say the bamboozles are a much better option though personally.

Fuzzi buns Im not overly familiar with so Im not sure if they are pockets or not.

I think 2 days sounds about normal...

Cheers :) I'll get a few more nighttime ones when I see how I get on with them then - it'll be a few months before I need the super absorbancy I'm sure! The Fuzzibunz are pocket nappies with minky inserts, super quick drying and very slim fitting plus very adjustable as they use an elastic/buttons system rather than poppers. (not used them yet so this is just from my research! :rotfl:) Hopefully they'll see us through to potty training without needing to get too many extra nappies (although I've got my eye on the totsbots easyfit prints as well....)

    Morning ladies and bubbas :)

Weird couple of nights here, Aiden is being really restless from about 130am, he doesnt want milk or dummy - just cuddles, which means we have to cuddle him back to sleep and put him back in the cot which is a habit I thought we got out of when he was teeny. Last night he did it at 3 and 515. I am knackered lol and I need to do day 5 shred at some point.

We tried plum porridge this morn and it was way better than cow and gate, it actually mixed according to the packet! Cow and gate seemed to go very thin.

I have realised whatever time Aiden gets up he always has a nap at 930
He got up at 820 and has been napping since 940!

Staying in here today too. If weather improves might put A in garden and mow lawns.

Where are you all buying anbesol? Sure someone said it was discontinued? Xxxx

anyone else have breastfeeding/chaning nappy anxiety out and about? i worry about these things. i breastfeed with the help of a nipple shield which is a little more cumbersome then straight on the boob but its the only way Niall will feed at the moment. also thinking about going out and about with no changing facilities near by scares me...silly i know.

Having the car when out is handy, I quite often seem to end up changing a right stinker on the back seat! In fact it is preferable to our local supermarket which just has a fold down thing in a smelly disabled loo, and you can't wash your hands without taking your eye off the baby!

Morrisons have feeding rooms in their baby change, at least the couple I've been in, and Mothercare, and our Tesco has a chair in their changing room. When I'm stuck though I just find a quiet, darker corner. Fed him between two trains at the Railway museum the other day as they had nowhere! I quite often feed him in the car too, but he's started grabbing the steering wheel and playing instead :D

Well, i have a guilty confession. Its only been about a week or so that I've been able to figure out BF laying down (on our sides, tummy to tummy). Last night, out of sheer tiredness/desperation, we BF laying down and i let myself fell asleep. Reuben slept for 4 hrs straight from 2:30 to 6:30...he has NEVER slept that long for his second night sleep (he had already done 10:15-2:15). I don't want him to get used to sleeping in bed with me, but now I feel guilty that he sleeps much better in bed with me so maybe its what he needs?? Full time bed sharing just isn't my thing though...snuggles yes, but then back to own bed/cot. Anyway when OH alarm went off I pretended we'd just finished feeding and put him in his cot...he woke up almost immediately and now I feel really mean. Also im thinking I would massively benefit from two x 4 hr blocks a night!! hmmm...

Oh and I'm another in-the-car BFer jedi! Although I find I don't have enough room sat in the front (long, wriggly baby!), so I sit in the back. I have those sun shield things that sucker to the window (pack of 2 from Poundland) on each rear window, so that gives some more privacy too. Also you can get specialist nursing covers too (I/d check eBay for cheapies as they are expensive new), which are like an apron (but nice fabric!) You pop on and it covers your whole from but you can still see bubs.

Sunshine - is the plum porridge in a packet or just single use pots?

Noah had a bottle and was crying for more this morning so I'm not sure whether to add breakfast into his routine now. He has continued to cry for more milk for about a week in the mornings now and it's the same "cry" he does around lunch time and dinner time when he is due his solids.
