I can't believe it, just checked his mouth and we have a tooth popped through. The tip of it is through the skin so hope that's the worst of it over for himThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Cute pic Gilly! And wow to the tooth too, has he been bad with it coming through or was it a surprise?
I'm back from the netmums meet up, and it was really good, best baby thing I've been to and I actually exchanged numbers with one lady (that's a big thing for me, I'm too shy normally). So hopefully will meet up again.
Have a very sleepy baby nw though, he was good all morning while we were out so hoping it'll carry on and he'll have a good long nap.Newborn thread member

we got it as a present Sunshine, that's a 3-6 months and look at how long in the arms it is
A complete surprise Katie, he's been sleeping like a log recentlylol. Today he's been super whingey, so I had a feel around his mouth like I do periodically, was just saying to my MIL last night, no sign at all of anything coming for him, then I felt a sharp bit!

Katiechoc - glad you had a great morning and the meet went well, where abouts do you live as I have never heard of a mums and babies cafe before, sounds like a great idea.

Right I've bought a Sophie
mothercare have 10% off any 3 items and 15% off any 5 items on the website ( the code is on there) so I also got an alphabet puzzle (reduced to £3.50) and a Lamaze Freddie the firefly.
I'm supposed to be going to the MIL today, but we had a bad night so we didn't even come downstairs until about half 12!! Then I had lunch and fed R, then worked on tribunal stuff....now feeding again, tribunal stuff needs another half hour (it HAS to be done today) she's so going to moan to OH that I didn't go early enough!!!
Wow on the tooth gilly sounds like you got off lightly!!
Katie I'm glad the meet went well :j0 -
Sammie I'm in Surrey, the cafe is Mamas and Beans in Godalming. It was nice, they have a big playroom so we sat on the sofas for a bit and when babes started getting wriggly we went into the playroom so they could stretch out and play with the toys. Was nice not worrying about upsetting other customers if he started wailing.
Gilly nice going on the sleepy teething! I hope George is that good!
I love the Lamaze toys turtle, we've got Jaques the Peacock, inchworm and the hand and foot rattles. The
Inchworm is great, just have t dangle it over his head and he's hypnotised! One of the babies this morning had a Sophie, I'd never heard of them until you all started raving about them!Newborn thread member
