So Joseph slept through the night again last night as he did on Saturday night...is it too much to hope that is going to be a regular pattern now?! :) It meant a much better sleep for me although I did wake up several times to peek into his moses basket and make sure he was ok! :p

Hope everyone is well - all this amazing Olympics stuff has made want to make a serious effort to lose weight and get fit!

Hey lovely. He hated it the first night when we brought him home, the next couple were tricky too. Midwife suggested putting a towel or something similar in, moulded to shape him so he would feel more snug and secure as he looked so tiny in there. What actually worked was raising it by laying a pillow firmly flat in it- I think it was just too deep for him before which scared him. He settles very nicely in there now - but it wouldn't be too long and he will have out-grown in

    Hello again,
I have a question to the recent weaning mummies! When did you start mixing veg/fruit with the baby rice?
We are on day 3 of baby rice here and he isn't really keen. Did you wait until they were taking the rice before adding anything else?
If I remember rightly I think Ro was adding carrot etc?

    Thanks! x

Morning all, so yep lost 3lbs :o not as much as I'd hoped considering it was my first week and I'd been good all week but not much I can do just carry on :)

AJ slept through again last night, he woke up at 2am and wailed for about 90 seconds/2 minutes and then fell back asleep. Happy mummy, it's only taken 6 months

While I was on the phone to my dad this morning, he managed to get through almost a whole packet of wipes, pulling them out one by one and attempting to eat them

Sunshine - I have loads of housework to do too....boring!!

Well I was hoping to be out of the house by 10.30 as I wanted to pop into town to get the boys some new bed covers but I'm sat on here feeding Noah, the boys are on the laptop and I still need to Hoover upstairs and downstairs!! Oh well!! I should still make baby group at 1.00 that's the main thing!!

Um....when I first started with baby rice he was not impressed so I just moved on to some pureed stuff and he chows it down like a natural..

started properly last week as we finally got the highchair since then he's had pureed pear, butternut squash and sweet potato...today I might mix up some sweet potato, parsnip andf butternut squash and see how he likes that.

I have the annabel karmel book which doesn't see a problem in introducing new food on consecutive days if you don't have an allergy history in the family and it seems to be working for us at the minute.
