Gilly, hope you feel better soon - the things we women have to go through... :(

Turtle, well done for standing up for yourself and not accepting that crap. When's the tribunal? And boo to lump on head but yay for frozen berries!

Katie, hope tomorrow's meet-up goes well and the other mums are nice in real life too!

Lirin and Seren, I'm very impressed with your exercise efforts! I've been walking with LO in the pram for about an hour a day this week (two hours today as hubby suggested an evening walk as well), but there's no way I could face running...

Not much to report here - we've had a quiet weekend. Weigh-in tomorrow, I think I've been reasonably good this week if I may say so myself (?!), so fingers crossed...

Off to bed in a minute - hope everyone gets some sleep :)

    PS: I've ordered a Sophie!

    Hello everyone,

Finally had time to sit down and post. My birthday was really lovely, and I had my first mummy birthday card :j

He isn't too keen on the baby rice really, he had some yesterday and again today - probably had all in all about 3 spoon fulls but we will keep trying and I am sure he will get the hang of it. He best do as I pureed a load of fruit yesterday so half my freezer is full of little pots of veg and fruit!

Gilly - 3lb is a great loss. Well done. I did have that app on my phone but I don't actually have any scales lol!! So I gave up with it.

I had lots of clothes vouchers and money fo rmy birthday so I am going to try and tone up before I buy anything. I would like a less wobbly stomach.

Our local fruit shop had blueberries on offer - can you freeze them then?

Wore heels myself for the first time on Friday, gosh my feet hurt after it!

Sammie - glad you had a lovely holiday :)

Will prob be back later xxxx

Sunshine, glad you had a nice birthday :) Yep, you can freeze blueberries - and all other berries too I think. I buy them in bulk when they're on offer in the summer, freeze and use for smoothies in winter - you can just chuck them in the blender frozen. I cut up strawberries before I freeze them (not sure my blender could handle frozen lumps that big), but everything else can just be frozen as they are. I imagine you could use them for things like muffins too.

LOADS of blackberries along a river near me this year - am thinking of heading out to pick some at some stage. I love them, and they don't come more MSE than that :)

God, weigh in lol. With working all these 14hr days, my diet has been awful. Doesn't help that we can buy take away for supper with company expenses! Must remember to weigh myself before I go to work x

Nutella tribunal isn't until 10th Sept - but lasts 5 full days eek! Need to sort out childcare, am dreading that! My employer's fancy solicitors are pulling every trick in the book, and as im representing myself its pretty tough at times :-/

Sunshine, I too had my first mummy card recently - I nearly cried, had to hold it back, how silly but it was so lovely that that's who I am now :)

Lirin I love the lolly idea, I will defo be doing that when reuben is a little bigger.

Katie good luck for your meet up! I'd love to do something like that but dont have the confidence - but it would be nice to make some new friends.

Mozzy, free takeaway doesn't count, don't you know if someone else is paying then it zeros out the calories ;)

    Congrats on the loss Mozzy!

We've had a good night, up once at 4am and then a lie in until 7. I never thought I'd think7am was a lie in!!!!!! But compared to his recent record of being up at 5 it's total luxury ;)

Thanks for the good luck for today, I'm half dreading itandhalf looking forward to it. But none of us have met before so at least we're all in the same boat. It's the thought of walking into the cafe and not knowing who I'm looking for that's scary. And it's a mum and baby cafe so can't even just look for the group of prams as there'll be prams everywhere lol

Hope everyone has a nice day
