Thanks for posting those codes for Toys R Us earlier Nutella - just ordered the wall stickers for our nursery as for some reason, although I've filled out the parenting club details twice now, I've still not received my gold cards and don't seem to be getting the emails, so it was great to get the heads up.
Glad it was of use! :jBut hope they get their act together soon so you don't miss out on any offers...0 -
Welcome back Sammie, hope you had a lovely time! And yay for Noah being good on the plane and loving the swimming pool
Thanks nutella.
Just had a shower and think in going to head upstairs to bed!!
I don't think Noah liked the travel cot he had to sleep in as he was up most nights so now I'm exhausted!! He had a bath this evening and put him down in his cot and haven't heard a perp out of him since!I think he missed his bed!

We've found a nursery! :j I had my heart set on a childminder, but hadn't started looking and received a flyer for a nursery that I liked the sound of, so went to see it today. Was very impressed with the manager (she was so enthusiastic and you could tell she loves her job), their baby facilities and overall approach to childcare. Big focus on the environment and the outdoors, which is what attracted me to the place. So - that's it, nursery it is. £792 per month for 3 days a week - don't you just love London prices... LO, who's 12 weeks today, came along too. Her favourite bit?... The fire extinguishers! She had a long conversation with them - I guess they're nice and bright and red0

Awww, bless. Maybe I should make my LO have her naps in a travel cot for a week - maybe then she'll realise that her bed is actually very comfy and want to sleep in it!... :rotfl:0 -

Happy birthday sunshine
After a really fussy evening of what felt like 3hrs of Reuben constantly on my boob, he all of a sudden zonked out on a cushion on the settee, and has only just woken up for a feed 4 hours later. FOUR HOURS!! Woop! Shame I wasn't sensible and didnt go to bed until an hour had already passed, but still...I think I'm in shock lol!
Welcome back sammie I bet all the boys had a lovely time0 -
Four hours, hurray! Can't remember the last time we had four hours between feeds. Just now, we had just long enough for me to go wee and turn the light off!0

aimless he's since slept 2hrs and 1hr (feeding now) so it was short lived, but makes me think if he could do it once he could do it again.
OH moan warning (probably brought on by mine blissfully snoring away next to me right now whhile im up!), why is it when he asks how long Reuben slept and i say, for example 2 hrs, his response is "oh that's good you got 2hrs sleep"...erm no REUBEN slept for 2 hrs, I spent 10mins finishing the feed while he slept, 10 mins winding (while he still sleeps), 10 -20 mins very carefully ytansferring hm to the cot. THEN i laid down and it took a little while for me to drop off, seeing as most people dont instantly go to sleep the second they close their eyes....so really when Reuben has 2hrs sleep, it means I got 1 hour at best. But if i try to explain that, well then I need to get better/quicker at puttiing him down, (cuz its THAT easy!) then i'd get plenty of sleep...Grrr!0 -
Happy birthday sunshine!
Welcome back sammie hope you had a lovely time
George was up silly early again today, oh got up with him at 5.30 and we swapped at 7. Don't know what's up with him at the moment, he's not hungry for an hour or more and his nappy was ok. Hope it doesn't turn into a habit.
Turtle lol yep it is just that easy to hurry up with putting a sleepy baby down without waking him. They just don't get it. Although mine is very good, if we could just get George taking a bottle from oh, even just expressed, I might get a proper nights sleep for the first time in 13 weeks!
