Hello everyone. I've had a busy few days with visiting friends and family (not like Mozzy's thank goodness!) and wedding at the weekend, so not posted but I think I'm caught up!

LO is 6 months old tomorrow. Took her to be weighed today and she is 14lb3, heading up nicely and learning to move around far too much! She can't crawl but rolling seems to get her quite a way from where we put her down.

Sleeping is not going great. We had a few nights of improvement but then the last three days have been so busy and she will not nap when there is stuff going on around her, so I end up with a grumpy baby by the end of the day and then she wakes every couple of hours. Today we have been in aside from the clinic and I put her down for one nap that only lasted 30 mins so I'm really hoping she'll have another later! Right now she is bouncing like a mad thing in her jumperoo so I guess she's got plenty of energy, unlike her mother :(

Good news is it's the weekend so DH will be able to help out with her tonight and tomorrow night so I can have a bit more sleep.

Turtle, was me said I didn't like the milkbags for freezing breastmilk in- was just easier to use ice-cube trays!

Rose's trick of the week- she has learnt how to sit on her own. Pushes up from a crawl and sits with her arms extended, and such an expression on her face! Wooooaaahhhh Mum, look at me!

It's getting tiring clapping and being excited for her on attempt 270 or so, but she enjoys it! Wonder what it'll be next week?

Seren, conjunctivitis is easy enough to clear.

Have a little secret- the only thing keeping me in my (optomistically) ordered worktrousers are control pants! And I love them, my stomach is flat again. For a time anyway.....

Crabapple - where has the time gone?!! Scott will be 6 months in the 17th  Scott is the same in the leave him on the mat and come back and he's moved lol! Hope you enjoyed the wedding, we have one to go to in August !

Lirin- jealous of your flat stomach at the mo
I look 6 months all over again ! so sweet hearing what tricks she is up to !

I have done a stupid thing and pierced extra holes in the avent teats as hes now nearly 6 months but I don't think I have done them all and haven't a clue which ones I've missed !!!

Scott is now more ticklish so having fun with that !

I am still trying to put Scott on his playmat and make Dylan the dog sit there and not try and luck him, am failing miserably so dylan has to go out the room! One day I will get there !

Hope everyone is well and surviving !

Well Aaron is in his bed, I've just stuck my dinner in the oven (spanish chicken and roasted veg nomnom) and I'm about hop in the shower. Going to get organised tonight in the hope of getting up at 4 to go to the Next Sale, hmmmm.

Have had a viler than vile day.

Firstly Tescos is packed - end up miles away from the door in the rain - thankfully the baby thought the rain landing on her was hilarious and shrieked with laughter.
Then I get stuck behind Mr Euromillions at the petrol station (not joking here - we've got the 42 million winning couple a few streets away) and have to wait AAAAGGGEEEESSSSS while he puts £100 of fuel in his Jag - when I was rushing to pick hubby up anyway.
Then we go to look at a boarding kennel cos we've been dropped in it by the friend who was going to dogsit when we go away end of the month - and it's viler than vile - I wouldn't board a gerbil there... and hubby agrees on that one. On the way back he has the cheek to tell ME off for not bugging him more about the dog boarding that he'd told me was under control with his mate looking after them - cue the most massive blazing row ever - I threw up some stuff to throw at him, he threw up the hospital stuff at me - which raked up all those wounds again... ends up with him driving, not giving it a rest and me screaming constantly at him to shut up etc etc (both as bad as each other).
That one simmers down, we try ringing other boarding kennels - no vacancies unsurprisingly... so now it's looking like I'm going to be stuck at home with the baby and the dogs while he goes alone up to this wedding I was actually looking forward to, not only that but it'll disappoint both sets of grandparents we were going to visit as well - and that'll all be my fault cos it usually is - and I'll get it in the neck from my mother in particular... even though she can never be bothered to even phone us and see how we're doing. And I really don't want to be left on my own - I'm too scared of how I'll cope with doing everything with no break... and the row's raked up all the hospital stuff so I'm now such a wreck again.
And if I go to the docs and say how much of a wreck I am over the hospital stuff - that might trigger mental health concerns and social services getting back involved - and I live my entire life in terror that someone somewhere will reopen a referral to social services and we'll loose her - just feel we'll never escape that initial referral the hospital did (this stuff's all buried in the pregnancy thread when she was born),
So now hubby's gone out to walk the dogs, baby's lying doing the "not going to sleep heee hee hee" thing, I'm sat here crying and worrying what permanent psychological damage is done by her witnessing a blazing row and her mother sob most of the evening - and really thinking someone as screwed up as me should never have had another small person to screw up - she deserves a mum much better than the failure that is me.
