Morning all.
Think on second thoughts I'll be waiting a bit before trying again- it's a cocodamol day already! just bad pingy, nothing major.
The bands passed us last night on the 11th March. Took Rose outside, more to get used to the noise etc. Was fine with it all passing our gate- until a boom from a nearby Lambeg drum! Instant starfish, if I hadn't had as good a grip she would have been a few feet in the air. No tears, just a healthy glare at the drummer for disturbing her mojo....
Then in the field behind us, a party until 0300. I don't mind, as Rose was in brick mode. Out cold, no movement at all. Could have happily nipped over and replaced the crap 90's trance with a soothing guitar solo, but hey.
She taught herself top go from a crawl position to a sitting one last night, without needing us to stabilise her- holds her arms out like a surfer. That pleased with herself for finding out, and we had reinditions for the next hour or so.....
Had picked her up from Grannies, and she has developed a 'fake' cough. It really is- she even checks to see if we are looking! Granny must be giving Rose some sympathy for her to try it on us.
Turtle- use ice cube trays to store it in, the milk bags are horrible to use....

Mozzy, send her to the Premier Inn. At least she'll be paying them to work for her.0

haha Lirin, no chance, she says she's broke..........
Which, btw, we are too, but absolutely broke, surviving on hubbies wage and my smp, which isn't much. We pay £1150 in rent and with all other bills, and all the stuff for Charlie etc, it all adds up to us having next to nothing left over for us. But we knew it would be like this and didn't mind, as long as Charlie had everything he needed. But we've still managed, with no offer of help etc, to buy and make dinner every night for her too and buy stuff for lunch and breakfast. And when his other sister was here too over the weekend with her 2 girls, we also bought all the food etc, and cleaned up after them. For some reason, they all just leave their dishes next to the sink?? I don't know haha, I just don't get it really. On Saturday night I made dinner for all 6 of us, then me and hubby went upstairs to bath Charlie, feed him and put him down, came downstairs, no one said thanks for dinner, they were all sat watching tv and all the plates were left by the sink. It was 8:30pm, we hadn't even had a chance to sit down yet, and still had to eat, wash all the dishes, and make the bottles.
I was just a little dumbstruck by it all, especially as they know how long our days are and how tired we are. Anyhoo, they back on Saturday night, then they all leave on Sunday. At least I know when my friends and family come round they are a massive help with everything, especially Charlie xxDFD February 2012

Boo to going back to work Mozzy
whereabouts in Middlesex are you? I used to work in Hayes. If I hadn't gone freelance I don't think we'd have been able to even think about having littles, no way we could afford the child care (we're in surrey so housing prices are ridiculous, probably similar to you) It does make me realise how lucky we are really.
HI
We are in Hampton, and you right, pricing is ridiculous!!! xDFD February 2012

It is long and hard and she should be more respectful.
Money woes here too, with work issues and a fight to be paid!
Sunday isn't too long away, only a few hours more.... Then just make it hard for her to come back!0 -
Morning all! Brilliant night here, 6.30 until 9 o clock this morning! So we'l be doing no naps after 3 o clock from now on.
Having a quiet day in, all the parades go by our front door almost and it's far too busy to go out, whitnesed a drug deal this morning already though, the joys. OH is working a 12 hour shift so is already at work.
Have a good day all xxThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Not sure if it helps but the BHS sale has some kiddy t-shirts reduced to £3 and on buy one get one free. I'vve just bought a few in the next sizes on so 6-9 and 9-12 months. I find t-shirts are nice and handy clothes :-D0
