Afternoon
Yay for sleeping babies last night! We were up just once so still pretty good going.
It's been so sunny I decided George and I would go to the park for dinner so put him in his nice dungarees, made a picnic and off we went. Found a bench so we sat and had dinner and watched the ducklings, even had a fly past from the Red Arrows, was perfect. Then he pooped. No big deal I thought and headed to the public loos. Turns out tesco ultra dry nappies are only ultra dry because they fire everything up baby's back and all over his nice clothes. Horrific. Add to that the fact that just this morning I took the spare baby grow out of the nappy bag so I had to push him home wearing just a nappy. :eek:Newborn thread member

Yuck lol !
Mozzy - hi! The other day when you saying about new bedtime routine sounds like you have a good plan to make the best of your time with Charlie. Good that you have Wednesdays to break up the week, spend more time with Charlie and of course catch up here
Aimless - I like getting things ahead too! Had my text from jl so sleep suits ready to collect from waitrose. I have been on m&s sale and got a few bits managed to get a free delivery code to work after it rejected it a couple of times lol the only trouble I have is remembering what I have, I thought I had a beaba cook machine thing but it's actually have mebby baby chef lol £25 tkmaxx red label bargain bought months ago!
Had a rubbish day yesterday Scott was grumpy part of the day as his naps were messed up largely my fault as I got him to sleep a bit longer before first sleep big mistake !!
Still sorting dining room ! Managed to tip a corner stand of books on to myself !! I am dangerous luckily Dylan did not get crushed (Scott was sleeping and slept throughout the crash !!)
Did anyone else get heavy rain and hailstones?? Yesterday?
Mozzy - cant believe the rellies perhaps if u do Charlie and oh did dishes and 'politely' ask for a hand !!
Well done with the budgeting it must be so hard living in an expensive area too. We only live on hubbies wage but we are in the sticks, although I always look like I'm spendingI do save money by doing it (I convince myself of this!)
Good to hear there are some good sleepers Gilly Aaron's was a mega one too !!
Scott seems to be backwards moving I wouldn't call it crawling that's too sophisticated more a bum shuffle lol and using his front a bit but not properly lol I go out the room and he and his toys have all moved :rotfl:
Hope everyone is ok xx0 -

Gilly - wow, that is a good nights sleep. Charlie still wakes at 11:30pm, then again at 3/4am etc. Was hoping he'd skip one of those by the time I went back to work. Guess i'm just going to be very tired lol xxDFD February 2012

I've started cutting out naps after 3 o clock, it isn't nice particularly if he's only managed 1 before that, but it's working
xx
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Katie oh dear!!!! Must say though, I think if the poo is explosive, nothing is going to stop it. Charlie had an up the backer today with Pampers lol.
Going to go to Asda's Little Angels end of month, basically you get 224 for £20, which is good.DFD February 2012

Oh dear, Charlie is napping now. There's no way I could keep him awake anyway, he's rubbing his eyes and yawning, then gets dead grumpy and starts crying. But he does only nap for 45min max. Glad its working for you!! Maybe one day for me haha xxDFD February 2012

I guess you're right, it was quite a big one! But it was the first time I'd tried these ones and now I can't trust them! Luckily we've got a load of the kiddicare ones in the loft so I'll keep the tesco ones for use at home.
Hope everyone has good weekends, we're off to Brighton first thing and I'm off to get tidied and packing so prob won't be on again til next week. Fingers crossed for some sun for us please!Newborn thread member
