My LO is very suspicious of the raz berry teether...he gives me some crazy looks if I give it to him and then spits it out...He loves the sophie giraffe though0

Hello everyone.
Been out for a little walk this morning and LO completely zonked out. So while he has been asleep I've mopped the kitchen, done his bottles, tidies the lounge and put some washing in the garden as its *touch wood* a little sunny! Feeling very pleased with myself, although just made a cup of tea and I guarantee he will wake now.
Gilly - Woo for sleeping through! Trousers with braces sound super cuteknow what you mean re going out, Aiden always sleeps better if we have been somewhere in the day but normally that involves me spending money and can't do it everyday!
Hello mozzy!! Rubbish going back to work hey!? Not sure when I will go back yet, luckily we aren't in an area which is really high priced so maybe I'll have a bit longer off than we origionally thought. I'm going to go back 4 days too, prob have Fri as my non working day. Has Charlie had any settling in at nursery? Does he like?!
Not tried the raz berry but we have the tommee tippee gummee thing, Aiden isnt impressed as it seems really big for his mouth. Heard good things about the sophie giraffes!
Hello Bluebell, sorry you had a rubbish night

I got the 6-9 month clothes out today but discovered 3 of the sleepsuits that we'd bought in the bundle are actually 12-18 months. Useful for later but less helpful for now... will try the car boot sales at the weekend as given his growth rate I don't think he'll be in them for long! We could also try asking Tesco very nicely if they'll swap the thick woolly romper suit we have some something a bit more summery. I thin it was a present when Elliot was born and still has tags, so if we could swap for a less woolly sleepsuit that'd be ideal!
There's always the cheap John Lewis ones posted earlier
I really need somewhere to put all the clothes i'm buying in the next size or two! There is a drawer to go under the cot that I want to use, but I never get a moment's peace to build it, and no-one I've asked will actually turn up to do it.
George was awake in the night again for food, it's more depressing when they don't seem to put on weight at any great rate!0 -
Aimless You are more of a shopaholic than me
Makes me feel better about myself
Katie We have the acdc tshirt tooH&M look sooo small though, I'm convinced the 9-12 would go on him now
Just realised that when Aaron sleeps through, he is down to 3 bottles a day, makes me quite sadwhere is my bubba gone? He's getting to be such a little man, I NEED another one!! He's also learned to do this clicky noise with his tongue, it is sooo annoying! Funny though if you click at him he clicks back :happyhear

Lol, I'm a stockpiler, buy it when it's cheap, not when you need it, is my philosophy.
When my eldest came to me the other day moaning there were no school trousers (if it aint in the basket I don't wash it!), I opened his wardrobe, rummaged around a bit, and pulled out a brand new pair of next size up ones he didn't even know were in there.
H&M stuff is quite small, when I bought some more ACDC tops while out getting my cot, they only had 9-12 or bigger, and it fitted him.
For a laugh, I didn't mention I'd bought more, and put him in it when we went to pick up the other half from the station. After a few minutes, I said, 'aren't you surprised it still fits him'? To which he looked bemused for a moment, and then said 'well, guess I am I suppose'! The first one was either newborn or 0-3!0 -
Jesus, okay well my ACDC is 12-18m and my Batman one is 6-9 I think, must get it on him now! I got Nat a Kiss one so hopefully it fits Rose!
I'm sort of like that, took advantage of that Co-op offer to stock up on lots, I will be having Radox baths for the next 2 years more than likely... either that or I will just have to have lots of bubbles! The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
When I was pregnant and Xmas was approaching, I bought a ton of essentials to avoid having to join the hideous queues in Wilkos. Just realised, I haven't bought a panty liner since... there was a wall of them in my bathroom!
I compared my 9-12 with my 12-18, they just seem to make them longer, but not massively wider.0 -
I suppose though between 9 months and 18, they probably lose a good bit of chunk as they start moving and are into everything.
It's so funny now, if you cover Aarons face with a muslin or blanket he proper fights to get it off, it's so cute. Disclaimer: he giggles throughout, I'm not panicking my child :rotfl:The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Ha love the disclaimer gilly!
Well my new phone is here but can't get a minutes peace to play with it, got a very clingy baby today. Think I might stick him in the buggy and go for a walk, see if that works. He's so sleepy his eyes are rolling but he's fighting to stay awake. Silly baby!Newborn thread member
