Finally got my first brew of the day! Last night my husband said to me (clearly without thinking!) 'I wish I could stay at home tomorrow and put my feet up with you!!' Needless to say I had a bit of a rant! Put my feet up - I wish!! I was less tired working full time!

Waiting in today for many deliveries (home oxygen, Poppy's medication from the Chemist, an Argos delivery!) and hate knowing I can't get out of the house even for a quick walk.

Not surprised you gave him a rant, that was a dumb thing to say but I'm not sure they realise what a day entails. I suggest a day off, doing everything for the LO that is required, and while you are feeding having to sit still next to you no matter what else may need doing, only being able to use the items prearranged to be within reach - no tv remote if you didn't think of it first!

My DH seems to think I am happy to stay in for the forseeable future until the replacement carbs for his motorbike arrive. I went to baby group this morning anyway, and didn't miss anything.

Our cats have been largely uninterested in the baby, until we put olive oil on her head... had to chase one off when he licked her!

I'm sure I'm being less rational than usual thanks to hormones, but am worrying about LO although her temperature has gone back to normal, because we've had some green nappies and I'm concerned she has the runs. Also worrying about my dad who due to have an op tomorrow. It's not a high risk thing, but they are going to knock him out and there is a possibility he'll have a tracheotomy left in for weeks afterwards. Can't actually write more about that now as just thinking about it is making me worse :(

I couldn't find the thread so it must have been removed. Thats how we do the bottles, refridgerate straight after cooling under cold water.
Little Ollie is still not satisfied on breast and is still a little Jaundice. Midwifes won't sign her off until he has had an appointment in April about the Jaundice. I didn't think they would leave it so long. When my daughter was born and had Jaundice she went into radiotherapy straight away so can't understand why they don't do it with all babies that have Jaundice. He is just over 2 weeks old.

Hi everyone. We do make up the bottles as needed during the day,as its easier to determine feeding times then, obv its harder during night feeds and having a hungry sreaming baby. So we make up 3 bottles for the fridge for night feeds. We always make sure they are cooled down quickly. Still unsure what to do when out and about,so have got a couple of ready made cartons for now.

Oh, and we use the ready made cartons all the time now as there is no routine as of yet to Charlie's feeds.

Crabapple - Hope your Dad is ok, its so upsetting when people close to us aren't well.

Nice to see you on here Lucy - hope things are going well!

I'm having a slight panic today, been feeling a bit dodgy for the past week. Feeling very tired (more so than normal) and a little sicky, the last time I had these feelings was in early pregnancy. I've been thinking about it all day and getting more worried (probably over nothing!) I've never had my period as I'm breastfeeding and I'm on the pill. The pill I'm on is a new type to what I'm use to (because of breastfeeding) and I've heard so many stories about the pill failing! Me and hubby have been dtd quite a bit recently!

I think I'm going to have to nip to Asda and buy a test just to put my mind at ease. Had to tell somebody and I haven't mentioned it to my husband because he will go into a mad panic! I'm sure its nothing to worry about and my mind playing tricks on me!
