Lo gave me the bestest pressie available. Sleep! Amazingly, for first time ever she has done a whole night with one feed. 8hours 7-3 then feed and back down no fuss and just waking now! Usually we have 3 feeds sometimes 4. Fingers crossed its not a one off.

Great news Kira, even if she goes back to her usual routine tonight at least you know that she is starting to go longer and it won't be long before you are getting more sleep :D I found with LO that she would do the odd night of sleeping longer then go back to her usual routine, and it just gradually became the norm that she slept longer, if that makes sense?

For those not on fb I just wanted to ask if anyone gives their LO cooled boiled water at less than 6 months of age. My health visitor said I should be giving LO some, but all the advice on the internet says not to? Confused.com!

WW - I have. My doctor said if he's fussing inbetween feeds, to give him a little bit, which I have.

    HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! x

    Kira, well done you! x

Ro - hope Scott is feeling better x

Happy Mother's Day to everyone, hope you have had a lovely day. We've been on a hectic one vising our mums but DH also remembered and baby got me a lovely card, picture, and a big box of chocs which I have just opened. Apparently though DH seems to think he can have one :(!

LO also gave me a sleep, 9 to 3, up for nearly an hour feeding, then down until 8 when I had to gently wake her for a feed as we had to go out. She then punished us with crying all through us rushing to get ready even though she was full of milk - just not happy she was missing out on attention!

My little one also decided to sleep last night... only problem was I woke about 4 and was just waiting for him to wake up! :D About 5 I picked him up, he had a half hour feed in his sleep, then back in bed again.

    Hello all

Having a bf nightmare :( am persevering as want him to have formula and boob but soul destroying at the mo as he screams for bottle. Can get him to have boob when he is calm but not properly....

Going to have to try really hard to keep this going

He has been not taking enough bottle (grazing) then getting too hungry do wont take boob as too impatient...

Hubby got a nice locket and card from Scott

  • Am not really sure why I am on here right now, possibly for the distraction. I'm sat in hospital with Amy, she got rushed in by ambulance at 9pm last night, I thought she had a cold, has had a high temp etc, I rang NHS direct to see if she could have more calpol and they dispatched an ambulance. After 3 Dr's they can not find what is wrong with her, they have took bloods and are testing for meningitus, she has a drip in her hand and they are diacussing putting a tube down her nose and straight into her stomach. She's finally fell asleep, I can't and keep pacing. If it isn't meningitus then I don't know what they think it is. Gonna disappear and grab a coffee, hopefully Dr will be bk soon
