Hello ok so far but it is stiff to fold as new, wheels have only stuck once on a weird shop floor but very happy for the money! Jury will be out on wheels to see how they cope when Scott is heavier
Hope u are doing ok
Ro x
Ah thanks RoI guess for the money I wont be able to complain! The best pushchair can get stuck on a shop floor tho, and i`ve had a fair few pushchairs in the last 9 and a half yrs!!! The worst was a Chicco one, would never ever buy that brand again
Maybe I should get DH to spend an hour a day collapsing the buggy and putting it back up just to "loosen" it a bit for me haha!!
I`m fine thank u, feeling a bit fed up, not with being pregnant, just with not having my baby!! He has been really quiet the last 2 days, midwife said i could go for a trace, but he is moving so feel a bit silly going up to the hosp for them to say all is ok!!
Cant wait to join u all! xx :TMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

Slightly unusual one. I know a few are having trouble with babies not sleeping, so feel a bit bad for posting this! Rubbed Dentinox around Rose's gums last night when she was screaming- it works alright. She's now been asleep for 14 hours. Don't know whether I should be concerned or not- she seems happy enough, and has opened her eyes for a couple of minutes here and there.0

Really? Oh that would be nice to join. I will pm mirrorimage now!
Are the rest of you camera !!!!!s like me? I have thousands of pictures of Thomas :rotfl:
I'm a photographer! I have around 3000 photos and it's only week 10. It's just so many little expressions that appear and disappear so fast as shegrows.0 -

OK, next time I post anything like this that might possibly be tempting fate, just tell me to delete it. :rotfl:Yesterday's post was soon followed by a leaky poo nappy, though not as bad as the previous ones.
I did try talking to DH about christenings, but he told me that if I didn't feel comfortable with what you had to agree to during the ceremony, we didn't have to do it - but he would like to have Elliot christened. So I either get to feel guilty for making various promises that I don't have any intention of keeping, or feel guilty that DH doesn't get to have him christened...0 -
Is anyone's bubbas around Thomas's age? He's 6 months and 3 weeks old. We started BLW almost a month ago and whilst he doesn't eat a lot his motor skills have come on amazingly. Other than that though he's still very 'baby' like. He cannot roll, he's only ever sat once, can't crawl, and has only just learnt how to do push ups at tummy time.
I know I shouldn't be worried as all babies develop at their own pace but a lot of my mummy friends who have babies the same age have told me their babies are now saying mama, dada or other words. Thomas still does the basic baby sounds.
I'm a bit worriedI've always thought his start in life has contributed to why he's taking longer than everyone else but obviously I can't prove it.
Hi Sequeena, P is a few weeks younger than Thomas and she doesn't really roll either. She kind of half rolls onto her side but apart from that shows no interest in doing it. She doesn't like to be lying down on her front or back too much though and prefers sitting up so she doesn't really have the chance to practice it much anyway. She props herself up on her elbows at tummy time and does the most dramatic sighs like its the most boring thing in the world. She can sit unaided for a while but def can't crawl yet, she just does the bum shuffle to move herself around lol. We have no words here either, lots of babbling away though which is becoming more pronounced over the last week but tbh I'm not expecting words for a while yet. I think P is pretty average for this stage compared to other babies we've come across at classes etc. Of course there are babies who seem well ahead of everyone else and those parents tend to be more vocal about what their babies are doing so thats probably why it sticks in your head. We're doing BLW too and its slow going as she isn't really showing a lot of interest in it and is quite content on her bottles still. But she can spoon/hand feed herself quite well and it amazes me how quickly she has been able to pick this up so I'm just enjoying watching her get the hang of it. She is loving using her hands now and her new favourite thing is grabbing at everything in sight, her latest fascination is my nose which is not so cute anymore though:rotfl: Try not to worry hun, he'll what he wants in his own time and I honestly think 6 months is too young to be worrying about not doing some of these things.
Lirin, you know my mantra is never wake a sleeping baby so I'd leave her if she seemed contented and you had no other concerns. It may just be a wee growth spurt where she needs the extra sleep. But if you're going to worry anyway you could always lift her and wake her. If she needs her sleep she'll probably go over again soon enough anyway.
Jenjade, I've nothing contructive to say but I just wanted to let you know that Ellie has been in my thoughts and I'll be thinking of her on Friday x
emmylou83, I got the JL stroller for my mum's and I've been very impressed with it. I agree its stiff to fold at the moment but it pushes really well and looks great too so no complaints here.
Hi to everyone else, I tried to catch up but I think I've forgotten most of what I've read:o Can I still blame baby brain?:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

Morning all. Waiting for the HV to come and do a six week check on LO shortly. She's currently in her carrycot making strange squeaking noises but as she has been awake pretty much since 6.30 I'm trying to leave her and hope she falls asleep.
We are going to have a christening as both DH and I come from church going families and still go every couple of months I suppose - been harder since baby came along though. Hopefully there will be no family issues as I insist on a CofE service but DH's family are all Catholic. DH would prefer the CofE anyway as he is rather lapsed in the Catholic faith!
Had the night from hell on Monday/Tuesday as she would not go to sleep. Think she was trying to get milk supply up as she would not stop feeding and I was awake with her latched on or crying until 5.30am. First time in a little while that I had a cry with her in the early hours, I was struggling so hard to stay awake and desperate to lie down. Thank goodness last night was much better and I feel human again:):heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Blimey, LO has managed to put on another 3ozs since Friday! HV happy with everything and I had no concerns. Tomorrow I have my appointment at the hospital to check the repair on my tear. I was slightly surprised that it is at the ante-natal outpatients - thought I was done with that! Certainly for the moment but I'm not desperate for a second just yet.
I've been amused by the nappy talk, we also talk of poo-namis in this house! Generally getting a dirty nappy every three or four days. She managed to do yesterdays during a nappy change so I was watching as she covered the towel she was lying on and then got her feet in it... mind you, that was the first time she didn't need a change of clothes too:rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
