  • Aww Hugs Gilly :( Poor little man.

Do you think he might be lactose intolerant (I dont know, but clutching at straws)

Really feel for you, hopefully the GP will sit up and take notice

I don't know :( the midwife said no to that because his poos arent 'frothy' and I dont knpw myself because sometimes he's really good, all day yesterday he was as good as gold. Maybe I just have a crier :(

  • Gillyx, not read all the posts but my Newphew had constant screaming and in the end they found he had very bad reflux and had ulsers all the way up his throat :0( It did take them a long time to be able to get someone to take them seriously and not just fob them off. Be persistant.

Hope all you other Mummies and babies are doing well xx

To those of you that used tens machines, if you are planning another baby in a couple of year time would you recommend buying or renting one? I am thinking of going for the Mamatens Mytime as it monitors the contractions for you. The cheapest I can find to rent one is £35, but can buy one through Amazon for £62 so might be better off buying one???

Hi ladies, just been lurking to see how you're all getting on. Gilly, hope the doctor can help.

Those of you struggling to find gripe water, i got some (I'm getting prepared ready lol!) from Boots, it was their own make and I also saw the branded one in Boyes for £1.99.

Just a quick question, those of you who are breast feeding, do you need to wear a bra or something at night so you can use breastpads?

Thanks laura. They suspected reflux but I just don't know. He's such a happy little boy sometimes, will take his feeds and go back down. Right now he's laying in my arms snoring away and everything is calm.

Yes lisa you need a bra for breast pads. There is a reusable breast pad called 'lilypadz' they can be stuck to your boob rather than bra.

After a bad day awake of no naps from lo, Didn't have a great night...lots of up and down to lo crying to be fed so knackered this morning when dh started ipad at 7am... Decided to bring her in to bed for a feed and skin to skin and she flaked out totally for 2.5hrs! Result! Was lovely to have a nice snuggle and the extra sleep will have done us both alot of good. More skin to skin obviously needed!

  • Hope all goes well with the GP today Gilly!

DH got sprayed with fluorescent yellow poo this morning when doing a change. It was so hard not to laugh ;) Not that I'll be laughing when Elliot does that to me, I'm sure!

We got 4 hours sleep in a row last night, the longest stretch of sleep so far! Unfortunately it took 3 hours of almost non stop feeding to get him to that point, which wasn't so good... he had a bit of a vomit day yesterday, kept getting hiccups and bringing a bit of milk back up, then needing more food...
  • Lirin - my PGP has virtually gone after 3 weeks, but I'm still clicky in my coxics. My pelvis seems much stronger and I'm able to walk much better now, I have no bedtime pain but I click more in bed and when stretching. I don't need the crutches but Im still not quiet up to walking around for the tesco shop. I'm Hoping that things continue to get better over the next few weeks.

Sorry you are struggling with Aaron Gilly. Just wondered, might be worth using the ibaby app ( got it on android market free ) to keep track of his feeds, sleep, poo, wee etc to try and spot patterns. You can note when give meds, and add custom buttons for other things like crying. It might show something you hadn't spotted but will give you a record yo show drs or hv's as you can send and print..
Its been v helpful with Cj..
