I like the idea of the buggy storage, but have visions of walking down the street whilst bottles and toys are being 'dropped' left, right and centre! But I suppose one day the novelty of dropping stuff, then staring at it and waiting for someone to pick it up might wear off :o At the moment, if it's not attached to something, she's not having it in the buggy!

Ro, glad you had a good day - but now I want cake and it's all your fault! :p

That cake looks so yummy! I want cake :( been a hellish few days here, I'm calling it molargeddon atm :( I hate teeth, he's never been too bad with them, but this one is just taking the mick! He is sleeping ok, but so grumpy and will not stop screaming during the day.

His skin has all broken out too, his legs are all red and weepy. He was diagnosed with childhood atopic eczema not long after birth, but it's mostly just been dry skin and a few little sore bits, it's really sore looking :( Poor boy, and to top it off he seemed to choke slightly on his bedtime bottle and brought the whole lot up, so he'l probably need fed later on tonight. Hope he's ok :o

Happy thoughts though :) he is walking everywhere now and has mastered getting onto his feet from sitting, so no need to pull himself up anymore :j

Do you think I'm getting in a trap of comforting Dewi with boobs? Should I be trying to comfort him with a cuddle first, not just going for boob?

Sorry to hear of Aaron's eczema gilly :( hope it clears up once the tooth does through and he's less stressed. Sound like he's getting all grown up now!

Bamama I'd say just do what works, personally when G was that little I offered him boobs pretty much every time he cried as it worked so well to calm, regardless of the cause of the upset. Gradually he went from latching on each time to just being held.

Christ no! He's three weeks old, fgs! Give him the booby. No better way to soothe them at the age, plus when they're that little the main reason they cry is hunger anyway. Worry about breaking the link between feeding and soothing when they're six months, not three weeks!

I've slowly begun to realise that he's not staying on long before falling asleep and he wakes as soon as I want to put him down ><

What's people's stance on stuff in the cot? Since birth Freddie's had some tastefully arranged soft toys at the end of his cot. Inevitably, over time the number of these has grown. I went to put him down tonight and I could barely fight through the detritus of faux fur, plush bunnies, cot snakes, blankets, muslins, and Miffys. Now that he's mobile and interested enough to drag them around the cot, it's getting to the point where I struggle to find him when I go to feed him during the night :D

Is it all a bit much? :o
