The other thing to remember with boobs, Bamama, is that you don't need to store the milk for there to be milk there. Even if your boobs are soft as anything, once Dewi gets on them they'll be producing milk as he sucks. I'm trying not to DDB
Thanks fluff. I know they make to order but I'd like to feel them "stocked" once in while XD
Think I might have to find someone I can talk to in person and get a hug fromstudent_mrs! Be prepared lol x

My mother's comment when she got told I was pregnant again was "I'm blooming impressed you managed THAT with a small baby"
Considering the extent of my PTSD, the extent of the tearing they left me with and everything else - I'm not quite sure how I did manage that one either to be honest!

A colleague of my DH told him about this website, where a lady use your old baby clothes to make a cuddly toy with your baby's name and date of birth. It's not cheap, but it's a nice way to keep some of the cherished baby clothes in something your baby might also play with: http://www.giftsbyqueenie.co.uk/Handmade-by-Queenie.html Orders are only taken in Facebook.
My lo hasn't sleep much today, she'll be 5 weeks tomorrow and she's been awake most of the day but with visible signs of exhaustion (rubbing eyes, yawning, tired cry, playing with ear and hair...), yet she has only just fallen asleep'! Last attempt lasted under an hour, previous to that half an hour, and all the other ones about ten minutes. Could she be in another growth spurt? She keeps eating and being unsettled. The previous growth spurt was at two and a half weeks.
Bamama, does he makes noises already? Mine grunts and do little noises, but no "proper sound" yet, some books say some babies make "oooh" and "aaah ", but I don't think I have heard any yet. What do you mean about Dewi wanting to make conversation?Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

He was just staring at me... no interest in anything other than staring! So I started talking and he looked sort of engaged? Twiddled his hands and sang row row row your boat. He was definitely paying attention XD
His eyes and head follow my phone when it's lit up too.
He doesn't make noises other than guzzling boob or sort of "yummy" noises before he falls asleep. They sound like a big manly "Ahhh" as if he's downed a cold pint XD0 -
Urgh I wish this boy would sleep. I had a grand total of 35 minutes sleep before he woke up, now he's stood up rattling the cot like an earthquake in a sleep suit
. Not even proper crying like last night, just moaning. Really loud moaning.

Hi sunshine! I wasn't expecting anyone else to be on, sorry you've got a poorly boy though.
I think G has gone off again already, so was actually fairly painless compared to previous nights. He had a big drink of water though so must have been thirsty.
Can babies fall asleep sat up? Thought he'd gone off so snuck a look and he was sat at the end of the cot dozing. I guess he'd have just flopped over when he got properly asleep…
Hope you get Aiden put down with no fuss, and there's no more sicky wake ups. How is he getting on at nursery now?Newborn thread member

He is back down now too, think he has a bit of a sniffle coming which caused him to be sick so hope its out his system now and he can have a good sleep.
Glad George has gone back off too. Aiden sleeps in his car seat sat up so I suppose they can!
He loves nursery now, especially a girl who works there called vicky, i love it when she is there cos he puts his arms straight out and goes to her. Very occasionally he will cry but its always stopped when we get to the door. He stood on his own tonight too, just for afew seconds.
Hope George sleeps through for you! XLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Not a bad night for us in the end, despite the early wake up last night - got off to sleep without a feed about 11.30pm then up at 3, had a feed and danced around in his cot for half an hour (with only a bit of moaning) and settled himself again. Still asleep now. Not perfect but a definite improvement. So that was 3 hours straight and then 4 hours for me, feel almost human for once! Bags under my eyes don't agree, but a bucket of concealer will help sort them out.
Sunshine glad he likes nursery, nice that he has a favourite! Hope you got through the night with no more sick?Newborn thread member
