Morning! So much for not being on here taster Xmas, I can't keep away! That and the other option is to clean the fridge out. Fun fun fun!
How is r's cold told turtle?
We had a good night, up at 1 and 4 and slept til 7, had proper feeds at both wake ups so I'm happy with that - its just when he doesn't actually eat anything it's really hard.
Marta hope you get on ok today and manage to see your doc tomorrow. I can't really advise on the medication aspect but I think gilly and turtle both posted some of the best advice I've read on the whole subject.
Better go, if I want to be on the road by first nap time the clock is ticking!Newborn thread member

Yes, you are truly amazing. The mw comes today, I can't wait to see how much weight she's put on (my baby, not the mw!!), I'm sure she's done ok, I've been recording every feed and she starting having 12oz a day and now we are in 14oz plus lots of sleep. She's a very content and happy baby, she only cries when you take her clothes off and is cold, but she still doesn't get the fact that if she does a wee in the exact moment you are changing nappies and soaks the mat and her clothes, there's no other option!! Lol
I'm going to try those expressing tips, thank you very much for sharing them, not sure if I'll be able to do it on Christmas day with guests around, but then I'll have the rest of the week. I'll give my GP a ring tomorrow as well and see what he thinks about me taking the domperidone.
Thank you very much for the support, if it weren't for your advice and tips, I'd have thrown the towel long ago.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Hello. Please may I join? Dexter was born on 3rd December.
Sorry to ask a question straight off but our Boots electric steriliser has broken (cue mummy meltdown at 5am!). Does anyone know which electric sterilisers will fit MAM bottles? Thank you.2019 Wins

Not sure if mam fit the tommy tippee one but we have this one and it works fine (we had two avent which packed up) you do need to descale with vinegar every now and then. The lid is loose but expands when heating so not a fault ! If they do fit this is good value ignore the bottles but useful to have brush and milk powder dispenser. We used avent bottles in ours. http://m.direct.asda.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-ASDA-Site/default/Product-Show?pid=002673512&utm_source=ggle-shop&utm_medium=css&utm_term=002673512&utm_content=Babies-and-Kids&utm_campaign=ad&cm_mmc=ad-css-_-ggle-shop-_-Babies-and-Kids-_-002673512&istCompanyId=71f4ae42-94c5-4821-aa58-05eff6da2486&istItemId=iwmrqprl&istBid=t0 -

Thanks everyone. They are self-sterilising but I like to be able to put everything in one machine so I know that they'll stay sterile, if that makes sense?
I know how to microwave sterilise them but not sure how to keep them sterile afterwards.:o2019 Wins

Short term solution not to go grab some Milton tablets and a tub? That's all we've used this baby (I've bought the MAM bottles for next time as I'm sick to death of the markings coming off the Avent ones).Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

LadyMorticia, sorry can't help on the bottle issue (although we have a TT steriliser which we use every day and which I love), but wanted to say congratulations and welcome to the thread!0
