I might have to pop into Starbucks nutella and give it a try.
I forgot I still had to wrap Noah's activity table and vtech walker, just ran to my friends a few doors up and pinched some wrapping paper! I don't know how I could forget about them they've been sat in my bedroom for 2 months and I have to move them every day to get my clothes out of my wardrobe!

That'll be why you forgot them - they'd become part and parcel of the furniture!...

Grr just typed a massive post and it vanished - how annoying!!
Hope all our ok and getting in to festive mood! We are here, all jobs finished, was in M&S at 7.00am on Friday morning getting food, all pressies wrapped and just ready for the big day!!
Things are going sooo well with Poppy at the moment, she is really thriving, getting very chatty, just saying Da Da over and over again! She is also loads more active and her appetite is huge at the moment, can't get enough food in her tum! All great stuff!
Took her to see Santa today - she screamed and screamed!! I had to sit on his lap with her to get a picture, must say Santa seemed rather pleased that I had to sit on his knee, husband thought it was hilarious!! There were reindeer and turkeys there as well, felt a bit guilty looking at the turkeys knowing I have one in my fridge!!
Also Poppy's article was published today on the front page of our local paper! It has 3 pics on, one of all 3 of us, one of her when she was first born on a ventilator and one of her playing with her presents! Its a great article! If anybody is interested in seeing it I think it will be published on their web-site this week sometime! I'm not going to post a link on the forum , but drop me a PM and I'll share it! Don't mind sharing with you select ladies if you are interested!!
Hope all babies recover in time for Christmas day, it really is horrible when they are poorly.
Hopeful get on over Xmas to see how everybody is managing and to share some festive pictures!!
Take Care!

Bottles - I make up a 24-hour supply at a time, which is far easier than preparing them when you need them. One of my daily evening activities when LO has gone to bed
This is what I do - thanks to the lovely Mozzy who shared what she did when I asked on here a few months back:
- Sterilise enough bottles for 24 hours, for us that was 6
- Boil water in kettle, leave to cool for 30 mins
- Make up bottles with water and milk powder
- Cool bottles quickly, I stick a couple of empty ice cream tubs in the sink and fill them with cold water and ice cubes
- Put bottles in fridge as soon as they're cold enough
- When you need a bottle, simply boil the kettle and warm the bottle in a bowl of just-boiled water. Only takes a couple of minutes.
This is what we've been doing since LO was about 3 weeks old, she's now 7 and a half months and we've never had a problem with bacteria etc. You do need to use the made-up bottles within 24 hours, so if ever you need less than you've prepared, pour it out.
That's how I did the bottles until I realise it wasn't recommended but the guidelines change so often! That method would make it easier for me, especially at night when he's screaming for a bottle (he tends to wake himself up if he's hungry and goes past all the signs and goes straight to screaming!)
It's how my MIL prepared bottles and I know loads of people who prepare bottles like that and their little ones are all fine.2019 Wins

I'm actually getting quite excited about Christmas! Although I bet Reuben won't really know what to do. He can't even sit unaided yetbut he does love ripping paper up (newspaper, magazines etc) so maybe he will enjoy all the ripping!?
