You have been busy Nutella! How annoying you have to take the cot apart to move it! I'm dreading dropping G's cot level, hurts my back getting him in and out already, big lump that he is ;).

Hope Noah feels better soon sammie, there seems to be a few cough and cold type bugs going around at the moment. On another note didyouknow they're opening a kiddicare store in Southampton? I love that website, not been to a store yet but at Christmas I'm hitting the Nottingham one with my Xmas money!

Yeah I heard something about it, I heard they are opening it where best buys used to be, it's about a 10 min drive from me!
Good for me but not good for my purse (or should I say DP's wallet :D)

Katiechoc - didn't think of that. :D he might stop working do much if I keep dragging him round baby shops spending his hard earned money.

Sunshine - hope Aiden enjoys seeing Santa. I wanted to take the boys to see him at the local garden centre but Noah is too poorly.

Yuck we are poorly here too. We've both had a cold all week, but today it seems to have stepped up a notch, and we both have chesty coughs :(

We are still in bed! Reuben woke me up around 1020, but has had a feed and we've been playing peekaboo etc. Suppose we should get up and have some breakfast/lunch etc, *sigh*

Laughing at the Primark talk (our local one's not too bad) - parents had a mayoral appointment recently (they're doing their year as Mayor and Mayoress) - opening the brand new Primark.

Whoever was going to kiddicare Nottingham - just a heads up - the parking's pretty attrocious - the spaces are stupidly tight (well they are if you have my car) and gawd the buggy elitism! I quite often pop in just with the £20 stroller we keep in the car just for quickly popping out to places and dog walking (so you can imagine the state of it) - and the hacky looks I get are hilarious!

Reminds me I must get round to sticking my iCandy on gumtree to sell - been using the double in single mode for a good couple of months now (it being nice and heavy means I can use it to lean on instead of crutches for my SPD).

    Thanks hun.
You sound like you have been busy already! Long gone are the lie ins!!
Does your DH work Evenings? He must be tired finishing at that time.
    Xx

He does shift work, so sometimes he works evenings, sometimes early mornings and sometimes overnight. Messes up his body clock and makes him really tired, but the money's good and he gets a lot of annual leave to compensate... I plan my life around his work schedule :o

Yep, lie ins are definitely a thing of the past! I did have a busy morning, but I like gettting a few things done whilst she has her morning nap - makes me happy that I can tick off a few jobs before 9am. Sad, isn't it?!... She loved the pasta and roast vegetables though - I used the baby pasta shapes, so there were lots of lumps and texture, but she didn't mind at all :)

We've dismantled and re-built her cot and she's napping away in her new room as we speak! :T

Don't make him come with you - just go and spend his money whilst he's at work earning more ;)
  • Hi all

Back from santa. Aiden was not too keen lol. He liked the reindeer though.

Nutella, is her room done? Post a pic! X
