Sorry to hear about your car, hope you are OK. Hope the bike has been successfully collected. Fingers crossed your OH gets the answer he wants from the surgeon. Oh and if you do find any surveys on sleeping please let me know

Morning All - So quick update before we set off to see the surgeon..:eek:

So bike was collected yesterday :j:j:j:j Brought by a company - so they sorted clearing all the finance off, we had just a little left to pay - infact a staggering £800 than we had calculated. So I called again asked them to recheck ( dont want something cahtching up wth us in years to come)..Nope same figure - I did question as I needed to be sure, apparentlysomething to do with the deposit and interest etc etc..anyway paid off that, the buyer paid the balance and ta-da all sorted.:D. So DH is about £180 pm better off just on that. He needs to cancel the insurance - although all paid for this year,we put away £20pm..So yesterday after a few phonecalls and some organsing as a family we are £200pm better off :T:T. DH bless him upset as he loves his bikes - but he knows needs must...So what did I do with all the extra money you may ask..well..I was a little frivoulous if I am honest . Brought a shed so that our garden furniture can go in it - and not get ruined by the winters. Hopefully means it will all last much much longer - so MSE in one way :money:. We also spolt ourselves and had a pizza last night - home delivery I have you know:rotfl: It was nice, but I won't be too upset if it is another 6 months before we have another..lol.
Oh and put a little aside towards the balance of what I will need to pay to clear the loan once my money comes through..Hopefully by the end of the month ( fingers crossed). If only every month could be like this - :rotfl:
Oh and the sales still go on...so made a few little payments to the CC's.
Anyway hope eveyone is well - off now - may update later depending on how DH gets on...
Oh and still need to visit car doctor and see how much for the repairs..think I may put that off for a nother day.

Wow has it really been over a week since I was last on here? Time just flies..:eek: So what have I been upto..
Well Bike gone :j. Final balance paid, so am just waiting confirmation from finance company that is all closed down. Yay DH is £180pm better off. Been selling on bay of e, although having a bit of a mare..had a couple of scammers involved and I had to get PP and bay of involved - all sorted I think, so just waiting for my credits back . Other then that trying to get organised, shed arrived and installed yesterday ( all by sales proceeds ) not sure how they managed as it was almost dark when they finally arrived..but done it is :j This now means that I can paint it next weekend and then move our garden furniture into it and hopefully then evertything will last years longer. So need to make a few £'s this week in sales to pay for the paint - but all good:T.
DH been to see 3 specialists now and had to small ops for direct pain relief, they have not worked so now waiting for full surgery. Sees Surgeon this week for review and given op date.:eek: We were warned he could be off for upto 6 months. depending on recovery - but I am not panicking ( too much) until we have seen surgeon.
Sales are going well, altough I am truthfully not as focussed as I should be..soooo tired, running around after DH, work and just general life stuff really..but hey debt is still going in the right direction I cant complain..Have tried getting DH involved with a bit of selling whilst he is laid up :rotfl: He has done a couple of bits, but I now know he still has not had his LBM as he seems to have found more he wants to buy than sell..:mad: So I have started selling for him ..It has been amazing what I have found in the garage:rotfl:Oh and sent off my paperwork for payment due end of the month :T Now not sure it will clear the loan in full, but will see what money I get sent, and then work it from there..its money I was not expecting as much as they tell me - so anythings a bonus.

Anyway enough rambling, am off to work

So as we enter Tuesday..The sun is shining but oh its frrrrrr - cold .

Had a bit of a result yesterday - sold something, I was not expecting to sell and have interest in something else, who will let me know later today. If that sells I have enough money to clear my loan when my payment comes through in the next month or to :j. Meaning a whopping £440 pm available for other debts..phew - quite a weird feeling, that we may really be getting there..I know we are doing well, but have felt a little stagnent of late..so just goes to show, patience really does pay off.:T

It wont show off my balance as thats scarily all Cc's but on the overall picture its going down.The extra funds will be going to clear another debt, I cant decide on the CC or interest free sofa..yes I know i know..but I am clearing them all I promised myself we need to start working for us and not everyone else..

Well that is another week over..Phew its been a busy one .
So OH has got to have another op - kind of expected really, but hopefully this will be the last and final one. It will happen in next few weeks, and with recovery time hopefully back to normal ( well his normal by mid Jan). So a bit more running around but at least I can count the days..
On other news..rang loan company today to get final balance, as i am advised money in next week so I can pay off loan.I am told that they cant tell me the balance as that team does not work weekends :mad: So I said surely you can look on the screen and see what I have to pay..yes but only allowed to tell me if I want to borrow more...Bizarre world we live in. anyway will leave it until next week now, but just wonder where the service has gone with some companies that call it customer service :rotfl:
Anyway selling a little more over last few days, so little bits all adding up - I think i am there or there abouts with extra I need to clear loan, but wont know for sure until next week.The last thing I want is to be close but no cigar If you see what I mean.
Anyway busy day today - off to spend time with family and am even toying with the idea of entering the cupboard of doom!:eek:Under stair cupboard that when we moved in I used the outof sight out of mind, tactic and so there are still some boxes to unpack:eek: I am of the theory that there may well be some hidden treasures for the bay of e there so that is what is tempting me...but I am sure it will more stuff.:rotfl: Mmmm maybe not..

Anyway off now, to sort OH out before i crack on with my day.

Sorry to hear about the op, but glad to hear that he will then be back to normal
As for the loan company, a cynical person would think that they make it easy to borrow money but not so easy to pay it back, but luckily I'm not a cynical person:rotfl:
Make sure you are careful when you enter the cupboard of doom, if we don't hear from you we will send in a search party

Just a tad excited today, just got my money through and was only £10.40 short of clearing my loan.Yay! So all my sales and careful management over the last few months have been worth it! Very excited - we will be £440 PM better off:eek::T Thats £440 I can put towards the next debt.
So off I went first thing - called the bank - I would like to clear off my loan please :j:j Ok says the nice lady, but we cant take payment over the phone!!:mad::mad: We can take a cheque though! Or bank transfer but theres a fee for this:( My joy starts to decline rapidly..Could you make this any harder I say? . Anyway after a few discussions they are taking it all on my next and final payment in December..Not quite what I wanted, but it is the most cost effective way, and I suppose means i can earn a bit of interest whilst the money sits in my bank :rotfl: Will probably get someone from my bank call me soon worried I actually have some funds :rotfl:
Anyway getting there..now just next month instead of this..Off to sulk a bit that my plans have delayed a little - but at least we are getting there..
