Hi All,

Thanks for dropping by. I among many I am sure have decided that New Year, New Start.
I have been lurking around various diaries, gaining secrets to peoples successes and really being more and more inspired by the sheer hardwork and determination people have - along with all the support and comments provided by everyone. I truly find it amazing that complete strangers can have such a profound effect on each other.
I am not quite ready for a SOA to be publicly viewed yet - I will do it but when I am in a position where I fully understand things myself.

Anyway think that is enough rambling

Thank You again if you have managed to get through this.

Well done on making the first move! We can all sympathize on how scary it is, but once you start seeing that figure go down it will become addictive!
    Have a happy new year!

Well woke up today and finally think I may have started to kick this awful cold..had it since Boxing day, and may even hit the outside world later - get me and my rock and roll life.
On the plus side it means other than sending OH out twice to get some cold mixture we have had NSD's so I suppose that is good!

Also made £54.32 off Amazon today - so that is straight off the CC..although it will be rounded, as I am a bit of a weird one and have to pay in round figures..i.e. will be £54.00. Something I learnt many years ago and has stuck with me since..awww well.

Anyway thanks again for all your replies, think I might do a little signature today to keep me on the straight and narrow..and will have a look at some of the other challenges out there to join and keep me motivated.

    Happy Monday All x

Well several things before I receive comments - My fuel is correct. I travel over 100 miles a day for work, which I pay for and no I do not get an allowance. So depending on the price of fuel this could vary greatly. I have looked for jobs closer to home, but there is nothing about currently and infact other than the travelling I actually like the company i work for! Also we may be moving closer next year..so that will help :-).
It also means that my car has to be a decent car - so I have a leased car which costs me £400.00 per month and that covers everything on it, but does give me peace of mind when travelling. So technically the value of car is in the SOA but not sure if it actually counts as mine...

Either way I have a few hundred pound that seems to be "not there" each month...A spending diary for me and OH I think from today..
