Mummy - You are so right when you put it like that, I will see what these do..if they have no bids towards end of the week I will drop the pricing..;) A little ..lol

Anyway more good news - Another card closed this evening, and I have called and spoken to the company that are offering zero percent but not really zero percent..they said they would review this and advise me in the next few days..:o You just never know..but they will refund all the interest charged to me account..if they do I will use that money to pay off a little more on my interest charging credit cards..

I have already BT the amount on that as they would not help OH when he called..but hey it could happen...:rotfl:

It turns out today has been very productive.. I am now in a position to know what where and who i owe too.. I just await confirmation of a possible credit on a card - if not it gets closed at the weekend.

Both at zero percent over 22 months, I have set DD's up for minimum payments and received confirmation when i can make overpayments in the month - so that the DD is not amended so actually paying off the debt..Basically The day before, on the day, or the day after the DD is due. Anything outside of this and the payment will be amended not the balance...So I have a plan..:T

Minimum payments on the zero % cards, and focus on other 2! I will focus on one at a time, as clearing these and closing has definately given me a new positive feeling that I may actually be able to do this :D. Even if I am 100 when it is completed...

I am hopefully expecting a refund of about £100 in the next week or so - so as soon as that is in, BANG another payment made..

Anyway off to update signature now...

  • That's brilliant! You sound as if you feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders! I felt like that when I wrote it all down, spoke to the banks to get up to date APRs and whether we could make overpayments etc. I had a plan and therefore felt a bit easier about it and not so lost. The tunnel had light (even if it was only a pinprick ;))

Being sorting a few things today, and came across some currency different countries..from the days when we had holidays and checked on Martins buy back site..and I might even have about £45.00 there..so be off to town at the weekend, get that changed over and paid on a CC..also found £3.50 lying in a drawer that I did not know was there..so that went straight in the purse..lol. Will be another small payment on Saturday..maybe I should look tomorrow and see what else I can find..:rotfl:
