Thanks all - Just need to plan what's next...:D2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.
2017. Lets start this again shall we?
Debt 1 Cleared 2/1/17 £480 Gone forever :j
Debt 2 100/5980 -
So here we are again..its Saturday people :j:j the sun has come out also..Not sure why but I am feeling very organised this morning - do not worry it wont last :rotfl: May go and have a lie down in a bit.. but while it is still here, have listed on ebay a couple of things..nothing sold last week, so have relisted again..:T
Anyway my dilemma today which I would like some advice on is this ... I have enough in credit account to clear one of my CC's that I am paying interest on, dont get me wrong it will bring me down to less than £100 in my account ( not including ODraft.) Now do I use it and clear it and close it? Or do pay half? Or just carry on paying as much as I can and have a buffer for emergencies. The BT's I did those new cards do not want paying until August, so I have another payday before then - or do I just pay out what I was paying out anyway same value before Bt's went throughKnowing it should be gone in a few months - maybe sooner if my ebay sales go well..
I just feel loathed to pay interest when it is not really earning interest - but it is there on the "just in case" fund which does make me feel comfortable..Truthfully I think I know what I want to do, but just wanted to see if you lovely people had some different views ..Outside looking in and all that...
Anyway off to list some more items - be back later
Have Fun xx2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Morning!!
Glad to hear it's sunny where you are! You are sounding very positive today
Regarding your dilemma (not a bad one to have if I may say so ) which cc are we talking about? cc1? if so then I would pay it if it were me. Even if something did happen and you needed to use o/d it will be lower interest than cc and it's unlikely as i'm assuming less than a week til payday?
If its one of the others that's bigger then I'd keep the buffer I think unless you have a separate emergency fund? That is my opinion anyway for what it's worth :rotfl:
Have a great day, another quick post to make and then off to get ready as DH is taking me out! I'll check back later.

Hi SCP - Thanks for the response, no still not made up my mind
..Am kind of thinking the same lines as you - but that will really leave me with no movement in July until next payday! However it means it can be gone, and as last month I got a whopping £1.08 in interest :T I think that spending it makes more sense than trying to save..as I can tell you that they dont charge me £1.08 in interest charges a month :rotfl:
Feeling a little overwhelmed by it all today for some reason..not sure why and I am sure that I will wake up tomorrow feeling fine..lol
Hope you ok - just about to pop over to your diary and see what you have been up to

I have days like that too, where it all just seems such an overwhelming daunting task. I'm sure you'll feel better tomorrow, you can always log on here for a moan if not[STRIKE]£49,129[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£[/STRIKE][STRIKE]43,012 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£42,209[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£40,823[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£39,866[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£25,960[/STRIKE]£21,338 _party_

Morning - Well I did it! No hesitation this time, no time to think about whether it is the right or the wrong thing to do..I have brought some presents for that day in about 6 months time  Now before I get loads of hassle..it is too early etc etc ( and to be honest I tend to agree) I was trawling through ebay last night..yes I know I should of been listing..but it doesn't hurt to look right
. Anyway I found a sterling silver necklace and earring set ( ideal as a gift for a family member) for wait for it 0.12p!!!Brand new comes with a gift box- so clearly looked a little more and found a matching bracelet although had to have a little bidding war (
) but came off the winner and I paid a whopping £1.42 for that..Also boxed etc..So that is 2 presents sorted for under a fiver ....if that is not MSE I am not sure what is!!:money:
Anyway woke up this morning, still having my dilemma should I shouldn't I and thought S** it if i do it I will have to stop worrying about it.:rotfl: So I did it! And I am pleased to say..
CC1 is now fully paid off and once payment showing on account I will close this down once and for all...:T Go me and its only a Tuesday...
Also on money in news - I am due £1.89 from Amazon in the next few days for a book I sold last week..
So rock and roll
Have a good day xx2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.
