Hi SCP - Thank you for the comments, however probably not doing as well as you think, I have been only putting on here debts I am focussing on..as I get far too depressed with all of it on here ( yes sad I know)...
But yes we seem to be pretty much the same as you, but I am loosing my mojo where you seem to be full steam ahead..I will get there just need a kick up the @@@@ I think. As I am quite impatient and would like it all gone quickly..i.e. as fast as I can seem to spend it ..lol
Have also subscribed to your thread maybe we can keep each motivated ?? XX2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

You're like me in the way that i am impatient and when i set my mind to something i just want it done :rotfl: i keep looking at that '£85' figure on my signature then i'll be in the '18's' and i have £85 in the bank.........i must wait until end of month just in case though:mad::)DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -
Yes you must
But I know what you mean I would be exactly the same ( although if I am honest ) I would probably get to the end of next week - and make £6.00 payment so I was in the next pound bracket down:D

We can definately keep each other motivated, it's nice to know someone else is along with you for the ride
I know what you mean about wanting them all gone quickly but we will get there. Looks like you've already paid 2 off in full?
Motivation wise I am either completely on the wagon or completely off it so need to crack on while I've got a bee in my bonnet
Have you started your ebay listing yet? I can't decide between ebay and a car boot! Hmm...
Oh and any news re your second job? Great that you've bitten the bullet and applied. I used to work 2 jobs a while back for about a year - office in the day and shop in the evening. It was a good giggle!
Hope you had a good day, nearly the weekend...[STRIKE]£49,129[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£[/STRIKE][STRIKE]43,012 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£42,209[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£40,823[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£39,866[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£25,960[/STRIKE]£21,338 _party_

Good Morning All, And for a 2nd day the sun is out..yay:
That is absolutely everything ( maybe a few I never mentioned before) but now here it is laid bare..I had to do it as forgetting a few will never get me out of this mess!
So what have a I done... moved everything I can to 0% cards. I have about £2k that will not be going over. Exact balance to be confirmed once all the transfers go through...yes I am still waiting...then I will focus on the remaining balance where the interests are high..once gone cards closed once and for all! Then I will ask the kind people on here for some advice of where my next focus will be...but hey that should keep me busy for a while :rotfl:
As they say one step at a time...

Being totally honest with yourself is the first major step on the way to being debt free
so have a dodgy hug :grouphug: for that
Well done on managing to transfer most of it to 0% cards - that'll help in the short term and means that you can really make dents in it all without having to worry about interest added. The first thing to do now is to look at the ones which aren't on the 0% interest cards; they're the ones that should be paid off first.
You can put all of that into the snowball calculator and it will tell you which ones to concentrate on first, and also what you expected Debt Free Date (DFD) is
You can do this! Chin upBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hi aamberle!
Good progress with the balance transfers there. You're doing well. even if it's just putting those balances up for all to see (and for you to see in black and white) it's still part of your journey.
I'm feeling very stagnant right now too with my df journey but I think it's going to be full off peaks, troughs and plateaux and I'm just on a bit of a plateau right now. It's bound to happen now and then and as long as I'm following my snowball calculator I try not to get too down about it. I do like seeing those numbers going down tho and the more drastic it happens, the more I get a buzz!!!Debt free in
