Morning - Happy Thursday. Phew it is warm today, even at this crazy hour.:D.
And so today i have made another CC deceased, defunct, gone :j:j. That is now 7 cards in total, what a feeling. I feel like I don't know, in control. I know we still have a mountain to climb but now these are going it feels like it could be achievable. This card is DH main card and will not be closed as we need one for emergency back up - I know I know but due to events that could/may happen I would rather have one on the just in case..as the logical thing is to save for an emergency - but I want to clear these are savings will just be used on DIY bits for the house :rotfl:.I know this already so rather than pretend to myself, i am just clearing these..that and the fact I am hoping that we get a 0% offer in next few months and can transfer bits over to it..and if we don't we don't. And so I begin on CC number 8. Already been paying it a little attention, but now it needs to be afraid as it will be getting my full undivided attention..I feel i should be cackling or something
.Once this has gone - well i am not sure whats next. Do i then do the furniture balance ( I know it was BNPL) but it will need paying at some point before the end of the year - mmm maybe a little payment monthly just to starting it in the downward direction it needs to go..or carry on focussing on the next CC? They all need to go, and in theory this should actually be my next focus, as it is the next lowest balance owed and that is how I have cleared them so far..but it is not costing anything at the moment, and they have not sent me any payment information.I have the money already for the sofas - due in December. I have a payment due to me in November and that clears the sofa's in full in the December - so that is covered. But I have it included still in my total until it is gone.So I only have this other BNPL to focus on..Definately need to think about that one..You never know maybe DH will get a bonus sometime this year and it will be sooo huge we can clear it straight out..ha ha. Yep and maybe can win the lottery.Anyways enough rambling for a Thursday - Number 8 is where it's at !
Anyway hope everyone is well and have a great Thursday. x2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Morning All, Where has the time gone? Its Wednesday already...
So its been another crazy few days for us - new job going well
. Got a bit of travelling to do over next few days, so may not be on here much. But weekend was good, enjoyed the sunshine ( for what i saw of it). Finally finished one of the rooms in the house. We had brought the paint ages ago - so did not spend a bean - went swimming, and had a bbq ( from items in the freezer) just brought salad bits..so while we were busy, costs were kept to a minimum.:money: So i was very happy and DH got to watch F1 as long as he helped with certain chores..lol. Just need to get the floor done - the carpet in there infact all over the house has definately seen better days - same carpet since house was built. Supposed to be cream or white I think but now an off shade of yellow..I have used the carpet cleaner which helps, but sadly there I think that this has had its day..So at some point we need to get that done, preferably before winter sets in..as there is no underlay and I think with a decent carpet and underlay our bills will be kept to a minimum.
Anyway sales and paying off more things have been a little slow - which really does demotivate me - I need to see things all the time going down, and yes I know i should not really complain - its still going down and I was out of a job for a while..etc etc but still:rotfl:
I hopefully have another and last payment due this week from another interview - so that will start on the motivation again as it is going straight to my CC - and Bgas tell me they have sent me a cheque for a refund for money they took in error - but I will believe that when i see it, as over the month different people have been telling me different things from there - and I was not expecting one, so if i do its a bonus.
Coco - Energy?? It is must be how I write - as if you could see me now..ugh:eek: I feel like I could sleep forever, my house is a mess and I really need to colour my hair - grey is not a good look for me:rotfl:You on the other hand manage all you do and keep 2 boys in check - now that takes energy!
LL - Thanks again for the encouragement, it really does help X
Anyway off now - am going to try and find a £ or 2 from somewhere :rotfl:

Morning and welcome to Friday..do you know what that means..yep..you guessed it..its the weekend!!!:T:T.
So another crazy week in the A household. But finally a few sales on the go - so signature updated a little. With a few more to go over the weekend, it may just maybe finish on a quarter of the next targeted card.
Not sure how MSE I will be this weekend...Have a night out with friends tomorrow, some I have not seen in over 20years  Also want to get a bit of colour in the garden..so will buy some plants/flowers..and am going to blitz the house. Have a few charity bags received that collect next week - so anything I dont think will sell will go in those. no point cluttering up the house, I have enough clutter :rotfl:
Anyway off to work ..have a great day x2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Morning/ Afternoon or whatever the timing is :rotfl: I have been far too busy learning the ropes in the world of new employment. It has been great.
So far spends have not been tooo bad - and have tried to keep them to a minimum, so we will see how it falls by the end of the month. But I knew this month was going to be tough..but then onwards and upwards..:money:
So have just updated my signature and overall total definately going in the right direction - I just need not to lose focus..I have worked out that if we meet all payments within 2 years everything should be gone..but thats if and i mean a big if we carry on with this focus.which if I am realistic is not likely to happen..as we will be running out of things to sell soon..lol.
Anyway as long as it is going down that is all that matters - and it is so cant complain.
Anyway thank you all for the support it really does help, as i sometimes feel alone fighting off the feeling of giving up on it all and accepting we will never be free of debt - so a little support really does spur me on - Not so sure about DH - I think my constant do we need it? How much? etc keeps him on track :rotfl:
Anyway off to do some more work Take Care X2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Hi All, Did not realise it had been quite so long since my last post. Life has been busy busy.:D So new job ok. going well I think so thats a relief. Not quite earning what i expected to earn - but hey its a job and it covers the bills and I even have a little left over at the end of the month for overpayments so not all bad :j.
So I have just updated my signature and its gone up a little but not as much as it could. We have been doing bits to the house, and only buying paint etc once we have made enough cash from sales..so I know we are far from perfect but at least its a start and our house is well and truly feeling like ours now.:D Which is something i really want/need..I know i am a bit weird like that..lol.
So have been missing from here, but whilst away I have mastered the art - of glossing, painting and even gardening:eek: I know...I will whisper this bit - I have even done a little meal planning. I mean a little, but I now only buy what we need not what we want..amazing how much money I have saved.
Anyway will be off now - for a quick read before bed. Hope everyone is well catch up soon. X2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.
