    Hi Aamberle
Those little payments do add up so quickly. Good to hear that those extra payments have worked out for you. Hope your eBay item went well :)

    Morning All,
Happy Friday - so we made it.Another month closer to our DFD's and I think officially the longest month in the year :D.
So :money: news today - have managed to get a new pet insurance quote that means I save £20pm on what I pay now and a whopping £40 pm on what they wanted in my renewal quote  And the new poicy is with the same company I am with now, just as a new customer rather than existing..go figure . Anyway done now so from March we are £20pm better off - I would like to say that we will use it for extra payments but at this moment DH is having all sorts of plans about getting work done on the house..:(. He sees it as money we are saving we can use towards stuff being done, and whilst we do need to do things we also need to pay things off - thats why we are in this mess but I just cant seem to get through to him.
Whilst it is good that we are saving to pay for the work - he does not seem to grasp that we could be saving to pay off these blasted debts..I should be grateful I know that he is at least trying as it has took forever and a day to get here but seriously...So for the time being i will remain teeny overpayments and anything else I can move over :rotfl:without being spotted..and maybe I live in hope at the end of it - our house will be finished and he has got so used to saving money we can finally work on the debts together..well a girl can dream...

Anyway off to work now Have a good One X

:T to the pet insurance amazing how cheap they can be for a new customer.

At least with OH spending the money on the house its not being wasted, even though I would feel like you do and want to use it for the debts, any chance you could get him to agree to 50/50 ?

Morning All, Well it has been ages since I have been on - well a couple of weeks to be exact :D but as I was at one point posting every day it seems likes ages..A quick update on what has been going on in our crazy world..Well we are nearly back in the 27's only £307.00 to go to be exact and then we are back where we were just before Christmas on all the CC's and BNPL's we had..still a long wqy to go on the overall picture but hey still going in the right direction.
Only have 3 other finance agreements outside of this now - so they are also coming down quite nicely aswell - still got a few years until it is all gone, but hey slowly slowly and all that.
We redecorated our kitchen last weekend - what a mammoth task that was - ceilings, skirtings everything and yes DH was right it did need doing. We already had the paint for the colour ( from our previous house) so we just needed to buy the white for the ceiling and as we plan ( I am reliably informed:rotfl:) to do most rooms we brought a massive tub of it - I was a bit cheeky and took back a few bits to the store, I found on clearing out that we had brought and never used from there, and what a result they took it back - I had no receipt so they credited it against the paint so the huge tub of white paint cost just £2.78 ! Result! So this meant that I was happy and DH was happy - oh I wish that could happen a lot we would never have been in this position. Its amazing when you start to really focus what you will do - years ago I would never of dreamt of taking something back, it would of just sat in a drawer somewhere until i got bored seeing it and then thrown it away..:o So things really have changed in this house.
Sales not going so great - am trying to sell a few things and people seem to want things of nothing - selling a sofa bed immaculate condition selling now at a well know superstore for over £1500 and in the recent sale only went down to £999..and I am selling the exact same model used twice maybe for a quarter of that with offers, and I got offered £50!! they are mkaing me laugh..Only selling as since we moved it was put in a room which is now too small to open it, so we are replacing it with a proper bed - for those of you that have read my diary you will know why :D:D:D.
Anyway must dash now as I really do need to get ready for work
    Take Care X

Morning - So the Sofabed sale continues..still not gone :o but on a plus no more crazy offers..so cant be that bad..Other bits have started selling again which keeps me happy..and I ahve someone collecting a couple of bits next week and paying cash :j You can never go wrong with cash. Also on the :money: front, so realised in the week still had not got my new all singing all dancing better than last year pet policy through..so I called them and yes you guessed it - no one had processed it  Anyway a really nice man on the phone ran through with it again and after what felt like an eternity ended up with a quote that was actually another £1.52 pm better than the previous quote - go figure that one:rotfl: Anyway he then asked if I need home and contents, just so happened I did, they gave me 10% off as taking another policy, and gave me a quote that is £100 a year less than what I pay now - so I signed up with that one. :T:T It just shows you that as dull as it sometimes is, it really does save you £'s shopping around. Even with the company you are already insured with- it makes no sense to me, but hey if it saves me money I am not one to argue..:D
Finally got the washing machine being fixed today - engineer came at the beginning of December, must be all the bad weather that held him back travelling the 15 miles from the office to my house ..as I am sure it would not be they are just rubbish - no-sir-re..definately the weather..Once it's fixed means that I can use more than one programme again, and it will spin..ahhh luxury.
Not a lot going on in other news really - am trying to persuade DH to sell his car, and take on mine if I get a company car. Mine is leased and due to mileage I have done, will make a loss on it if I hand it back, try and sell it - where as his will sell and make a small profit..Think i am getting there with him, but hey who knows what goes in there :rotfl:
Thinking about doing some baking at the weekend, but trying to lose some weight and the only things I excel at making are cakes or biscuits..and with no willpower not sure if it's a good idea..we will see.

Thanks everyone for your comments much appreciated - hopefully I can report some more sales soon,

    Have a good Friday X

Wow cant believe it has nearly been a month since my last post..doesnt time fly when your having so much fun :rotfl:
So not really a lot to report, still trudging along trying to clear up the debts..So closed another card down this week albeit a lot was moved to another 0% card but still reduced by £600 before I transferred so not all bad.;) Still loads still to do but little by little it will go. Been a bit slow with the payment a day, or little payments add up than I usually would as we have been trying to save up to get the kitchen done (long story) Brought the new cooker, hood etc very :money: used a cashback site, discounts brought bits from 3 seperate places to ensure best prices..free delivery etc and have actually today just paid all that off. :j So its a start :-).

Am glad that the sun has finally started to make an appearance, it makes everything seem so much better - unless ofcourse you are looking at my garden, in which case it makes me realise that I really need to dig the lawnmower out this weekend..:rotfl:

Anyway off now, got to pick some friends up form the airport..
