Time to address the finances...

Anyway not a bad Monday - moved into the 27's :j:j Only just in there, but in there just the same.So this weekend has consisted of shopping shopping and more shopping . Christmas shopping to be exact - I think I have got almost everyone now, will pile up all my deals next weekend and maybe even start the wrapping :eek: I hate that part - sooo boring!
Been listing sales this weekend too so hopefully a few more pounds to arrive over the week.
Am really busy this so not sure how much I will get on here - but have a great week all and keep MSE X:money:

Ooh Fae - I may just take you up on that Although will see how DH does first -give him something to do while he is recovering :rotfl:

So a little update on life since my last post.. DH has had his operation, is now home and looking like he is on the road to recovery - have to wait around 6 weeks they say to see how it went, but if nothing else he is in less pain, which is nice..
Still loan not cleared Finally got a letter through saying they will take the full and final amount in the next DD - so hopefully by this time next week I will be :j. But just as you get excited about that ( you know how ying and yang works).The washing machine packs up So have called an engineer out who will be here this week, had a choice eih £80 call out plus parts or £170 for 12mth plan..all covered and as many call outs as necessary and will replace if keeps failing. So took the year - as the machine has played up before albeit about a year ago, but hey would rather we were covered..Oh yeah and the boiler broke, so we had to get a new bolier..clearly could not afford it as paying off loan, so have had to finance it with BG. But I think we got a really good deal, covered all installation, and 24 months cover etc..and will pay that off ASAP. But now we have a warm house, hot water and peace in the house..amazing what you get used to. We have cavity walls being done next week and then thats it for another year..We saved up for the cavity walls to be done, so the only things extra were the boiler and washing machine. As DH is home recovering at the moment the last things I needed was not being able to keep things ticking over..so its done, probably not what was needed this time of year but done all the same.
Have still been selling selling selling, and that is how the cavity walls have been done, still paying odds off CC's and have made a massive decision ( massive for me anyway :rotfl:) that at the beginning of next year I am going to list on here all our outstanding debts loans, cards everything..But next year so I still have time to reduce some..before I shame myself in public:D.I know where everything is but I think I am ready to list ot all..

Anyway off now for a lie down after that revalation.

And so it is Wednesday. Just a quick update today. Just been told I will get a little bonus at the end of the year :j. which I was not expecting. This means that another agreement is paid off in full.:D. So this will be 1 less I need to tell all the lovely people on here about next month - phew!
Shame it was not a little more and I could of cleared all of them..:rotfl:I dont know i am just never happy.
Made a little payment to a CC today too - so not bad for a Wednesday.

Hi All - Just a quick update as still working. Payment for loan still has not left my bank - so still not closed - I called them today and they said definately taken next week. So all being well should be closed by end of the month :j. Got my other loan ( BNPL) paid off today on full too - so no interest charge on that All in all a good day.

Morning All - I know is Monday and wet and windy, BUT ( I apologise for those not ready for this)..But it has finally happened! My last loan payment has left the building..:T:T:T:T I have now offically over £400 pm to kick some more debts into touch..yahoo..
So I will be spending the rest of the month in between, food festivities and family and friend visits - working on my game plan for next year.

Great news about the loan, so glad to here you finally got there. And good news about your OH op too, hope he is recovering well.

You won't shame yourself putting all your debts on here, you are amongst friends, who have all done the same thing, so I say go for it.:T

Hi All, hope everyone is well and getting into the Christmas spirit.. I am still struggling to get there, too much still to do and no time to do it in..:D
So things have been going pretty well this year I thought a few setbacks than I would like on the way but I suppose it would not be life without them..
