    Afternoon all

    Glad the cleaners turned up PP - did they give a reason for being late....I can't stand people being late....

    Talking of which the freecycler that was coming to pick up something didn't show - I emailed and asked if they still wanted it and they said yes - they'll get here "soon"...... how inconsiderate :mad:

    I've made 2 dozen muffins (blueberry), a 2lb loaf, 8 fishcakes and a mess :rotfl: Best I go start the big wash up I suppose!

    afternoon all - am just killing time optimistically waiting for my hair to go from mouse with grey bits to plum - typing with those rubber gloves on is sooooo hard

    looks like it will be really frosty tonight and we had quite a long snowshower this morning, hope its not too bad for you all tomorrow, i took the bus this morning as the roads werent good, £1.70 for two miles, and they want us to use the buses more often, i dont think so

    the breadmaker is on and i have hm carrot soup for tea, mullerice to follow at 21p in tesco just now

    aussielass, looks like you will be in time for the snow, enjoy your hols x

    Just heard back from the garage... car is all ready, hopefully the damage isnt too bad, they have yet to write up the bills. I had managed to save £250.00 for it so hopefully I'll be within budget, fingers crossed!

    Those muffins sounds lovely Pooky, I am absolutely starving! I havent had a muffin for ages, I started a dairy free diet to try and help my skin... i have baked a bit with diary free substitutes and I was pleasantly surprised!!

    Right not long now til hometime, am off to my parents for dinner tonight, weds night is my night off, think its shepherds pie and veggies!!

    I bet you live right where I used to Rzl, Bushey Hill Road, even though it was SE5 I was proud to say I lived in Peckham! I miss Savers and Primark! Hehe!

    My Boss just rang me up and congratulated me on what a good job I have done today of this pile of paperwork he gave me :shocked: he never says anything nice. Still looking for another job though!!

    welcome to England Aussie Lass just in time for the snow
    WM is now fixed and has done 2 loads have just done dinner DD2 said she didnt like the mash i said am not surprised they are dumplings:rotfl:
    off to DD2 options eve tonite and then home before the snow hopefuly i bet after all this it doesnt come:mad: kids are excited as if it does no school:eek:
    i need to take OHs car for a new exhaust tomorrow so not to sure what i want it to do

    fingers crossed that brentford v brighton will be snowed off on saturday so i can go to the O/S meet up in london. Am now sitting with special conditioner that semlls like a cat weed on my head - this had better be worth it!
