Pollybear wrote:Afternoon all. Sitting here fretting about the snow that's being forecast. I am really scared of snow and ice. Every year I get worse. If it's that bad I might take tomorrow night off work but I feel guilty about that (even though I can take it as holiday). I can't just take time off because of the weather. Last time I did (about 3 years ago) my husband just kept grumbling about it.
Sorry to ramble on, it's really bothering me.
I know how you feel. I used to go to bed at night worrying about what it would be like in the morning. Had colleagues who had much worse journeys than me, but I was the one who got stressed out.
In fact that was one of the reasons I retired at the end of Dec. Had thought about going on till the summer but couldn't face another winter.
There must be something that bothers him that you could use as an example.0 -

Hi twink,
I'm not sure exactly how old you are, but if you are old enough, have you applied for your National Entitlement Card (click the link)?
Hope this helps.
P.S. It's my birthday today as well!
Love
