moggins- I know exactly what you mean! Can you tell me which company the mortgage is with - it sounds too good to be true compared to those I've been looking at this week. Thank you.

    .

It's with C & G. I'm going through brokers called Mortgage Angels. Found em on one of the switch sites on the internet.

  • Hi everyone,

Not had time to read through the thread yet. Been out at a meeting and have just sat down with a bowl of cereal for tea. I know, not the best thing in the world to eat, but all I have the energy for! I am getting excited about the prospect of snow tomorrow - I haven't built a snowman for years!:rotfl:

D'OH! Last Saturday I was walking round Woolworths with a sieve in one hand (as I had realised on Friday that I didn't have one, therefore nothing to rinse rice in) thinking... "I know there's another utensil I need, what is it?" Anyway I just bought the sieve... Today I was just about to start my Gillian McKeith millet mash when it occurred to me - POTATO MASHER!

spose a fork will have to do :o

    Hello everyone

Greetings from very cold Derbyshire, snow could be imminent... Not sure how I feel about that. Being Scandinavian I am very familiar with the stuff, it just seems so out of place here. Not to mention the chaos that ensues from any little flurry of the white stuff:eek: .

Spent all day today advising at CAB, we are really busy and especially our debt case load keeps climbing. Children are having a bath and I am ready to put my feet up and indulge in some :coffee: and chocs. Wishing you all a cosy evening.

    Hello everyone

Happy birthday to JackieO and Valentine! :bdaycake:

*hugs* to pennypinchers sister - hope she enjoyed your visit.

Snowed overnight, which meant it was icy this morning (and most of today). I think it's heading the same way tomorrow which I'm not too happy thinking about

Kyle - thats such a cute pic :D

I hate my hair! I only dyed it a week ago and the grey roots are showing already :( It's not fair! I wonder if Tesco have an offer on Garnier Nutrisse this week?

Can anyone tell I am bored? Everyone is tucked up in bed and I am recording The Rescuers onto video for DD so I can't even watch anything on TV.

I think I might go and read the Darwin Awards for a while, that always makes me laugh :D

Haven't read the rest of the thread yet - sorry! - but just popping in to say hello. Have had a busy week thus far and it's not looking like it's going to get any easier! :)

Have a new playgroup to go to tomorrow but will have to empty the car of phonebooks first! Picked them up this afternoon, eventually and did attempt to deliver some this evening, but it's too dark to see the house numbers and the lanes are all up farm roads, so 4 foot high kerbs, no light except the headlights and it's an area I don't know, so will go back tomorrow in daylight! :D

Hope everyone has had a good day. Happy birthday to those it involves and ((((hugs)))) to those who need them!

    Good evening all

its very cold here, No snow yet, but its icy allready! Ive got the fire & heating on, fleece pj's, thick sweatshirt, socks, and Im still snifflin, and nursing this dreadful headache. Hope it doesnt get any worse, I must go back to work tomorrow. Providin the snow (if we get any) doesnt cause the school to close again! If all is well, then DS will be going back. I dont mind staying at home when they are ill (got no choice in the matter) but I dont get paid for it. Either have take it as holiday, or work back the hrs! And cos Im only part time anyway, I find it hard to fit the extra hrs in. Even if I stayed an hour every day extra, I'd be working non-stop for the next 2weeks! Oh well - such as life

DD went to the Valentine's school disco earlier. Nightmare trying to find a nice party outfit for her which actually fits. Tried a dress on - didnt fit, (that was age 7-8) she's 7yrs old. She Ended up wearing a hand me down floaty denim skirt age 10 which just sat lovely on her waist! pair of black tights, boots, black check top and her fluffy coat (mothercare cost £1 from our local flea market) she looked so grown up! Bless her!

lil_me Im so pleased you got the ebay stuff sorted. Cant believe the cheek of some people, but at least your patience paid off in the end.

OH watching footie! got rid of sky in hope it will sort this problem, evidently it hasn't as its on normal tv.

Think a fag is in order, then bed!
    Good night everyone
    Take care

Hi! not been on since yesterday morning due to work so I hope you're all ok!

Moggins - I have the same problem with my hair which used to be black, I use Loreal excellence creme for mine which I have found to be very good at covering grey, the only bits that show on mine are the temples as my hair is uite short and its difficult to get those bits!

Off for an early night, got a bit of catching up to do with DH!:o ;) as I slept in at work last night:D

    Off for a browse now!

    TTFN xx
