OS Diary, Wed 7 Feb 07

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 7 Feb 2007. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Good morning everyone

Good morning all. I hope you are all ok this morning.
Happy birthday Jackie0
Not much going on here, very cold today. The cardiac nurse is here to see OH today and I have a list of questions ready.
The usual lot of cleaning to do today, not much else.
I haven't decided what's for tea, will sort out later after work.
I hope your sister is ok P-P.
Hugs to anyone who needs one today and I hope you all have a good day.

Morning. Happy Birthday to Jackie, whoever that is?
Looks cold out there this morning. No snow forcast for here, only rain.
Another day at the office in a minute or two.... Fri-Sun off, so looking forward to that.
Not much going on really. I grounded my son last night for being dis-respectful and fighting with the other kids. I took his PS2 away as well. Hope that works.
Better go and make pack-lunch... cheers everyone...NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -

Morning folks
Happy Birthday JackieO
Still having mother in law problems. Now causing friction between hubby and I as I believe he should be supporting me and not sitting on the blooming fence
Work again today. Last full day of the week so not so bad. Got grumpy with workmates as well yesterday as I was absolutely boiling and wanted the window open for 5 mins just to let some air in. After 30 secs it was shut so I opened it again and again it was shut. It was ridiculous! So I have said if there is no compromise I will be turning the heating off every day as I find it unpleasant to sit in a hot-house.
My god I am a moan this morning!
Plans for tonight are just to put away some clothes that should be dry by then and the usual nightly quick tidy up.
Have a good day folks0 -

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKIE O
Good morning everyone,
Had a lovely evening last night, a lovely friend came around with a bottle of wine for a chat - its the one who is still waiting to se if she has her university place in Melbourne - she should hear anyday, and if its a yes, she could be gone in 10 days:eek:
Plans for today - not a lot, have 2 LOs here, and although its very dark outside, its looking horrible, so a day home for us - might get the colouring stuff out for them.
Right, going to have a quick browse and my cuppa whilst i wait for the first LO, hope eveyone has a lovely day.
((HUGS)) to Snowy, and anyone who is poorly or who would just like one xxx
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning everyone and a happy birthday to JackieO. Hope you have a lovely day.
Well, I woke up at 5.30 this morning, nipped to the loo, climbed back into bed and started sneezing like mad. I now have a full blown cold.I have lots to do this week so I could really do without it. Then again, when is it ever convenient to have a cold?
DD has been complaining that her hand hurts. Figured out that she is doing so much writing in class that she is straining the muscles around her thumb. She sits her SATS in May and the teacher has cranked up the homework so that isn't helping either. Will have to have a word with the teacher this morning.
Governors meeting after school today as we are having some staffing problems at the moment. Hope the meeting won't be too long if I feel like this.
N9eav, my son was sent to bed very early last night for the same reasons. Is there something in the air, do you think?
Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
