OMG I got the last job I applied for!!!!!!!
I am soooo blinking happy! Full time which will take a bit of getting used to. I will have 2 weeks of the holidays to cover for the kids.
This will give us and extra £444 a month! That will make a HUGE difference to us and our debt busting. Hubby is taking me out for a meal tomorrow to celebrate!
So much enjoyed handing my notice in today to my bullying Aunt and Uncle :-) xxxOrange Fairy

Well done on the new job OF, that's fantastic news:beer:
We loved our week down in your part of the world...you very lucky lady living there. I did think of you as we crawled through the traffic in Braunton
Woolacombe was looking beautiful in the sun, could very happily live there! I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Congratulations! Well done you :-) xxxx0

Thanks everyone! I am sooo pleased!!!!!
Our disposable income will rise from 587 to 1031. That feels huge!!!!
There will be a little extra travel costs as i will need to get the bus some days. But no more than £30 a month i reckon!
Will take a lot to adjust to work full time and keeping the house how i like it!
But the benefits in terms of money is fab!
At the moment we are overpaying by £200 a month minimum. We should be able to over pay by £600 minimum really.
I need to work on what is going on with hubbys money really. Presently i save £100 to overpay out of my £200 spare and he saves £100 out of the £387 he has spare! Where the other £287 goes i dont know. Last month especially we didn't really spend much!
The fact we have £1000 spare at the end of sept pay check should mean we could overpay £800 plus the normal £215 that is in the budget for the loan payment
Oh and this month I have got the loan sub 3.5k! It is now at £3245!
It was £4114 at the beginning of June so I am pleased with that!
We have hubby's son round tonight and are going for a big day out with my family to an adventure park. The weather isn't meant to be good so I am keeping my fingers crossed!
Pixie - I'm glad you like it down here! I do feel very lucky living where we do. I wouldn't change it for the world. Took it for granted while growing up but i try and make the most of it now and appreciate living by the sea and in the country
....though tell me that at peak holiday time and while stuck in traffic and i may say something different

Hi OF, just wanted to say really well done on the job. I'm so pleased that you're getting away from your auntie and uncle taking advantage of you.

I have finished work!! So glad to be out of that poisonous place!!
My 2 colleagues arrange for a delivery of orange flowers (my fave colour in case you hadnt guessed :-)) and a good luck ballon. My Uncle was being an @ss on thursday and was querying over 4 hours i have put in for wages! Serious - after all the dodgy dealing i have seen him do and have proof of! Luckily in the end he and my Aunt must have realise how petty they would look to the family so they paid me what i asked for. New job Monday  Just need to find my colleague a job to get out of there now!
Right money wise- got paid my wages from old (:D) job. Got paid £67.50 holiday money i hadn't used. That will pay for DD2's 7th birthday party. My sisters 7th birthday is 5 days before so me and my mum always throw a joint party. I got a tax rebate in my last paycheck but that will be taken back with my new wages i expect. So i will have a bit more this month which will be nice for DD2's birthday presents
Pleased with loan progress. I have my £100 overpayment for August to come off tomorrow. Then what ever hubby has left on friday when he is paid. I would be suprised if he has any more than £50 as he has paid for 2 meals out and a day to an adventure park this month! But the great thing is by the 5th of sept (my loan payment date) it will definitely be under the £3k mark. It will look so much better at £2k something
Sept overpayments wont be amazingly high as i wont be at full pay by then. So excited about moving forward! xOrange Fairy

Yay for finishing at work , bet you are pleased to be out of there. Sounds like your colleagues there were lovely, shame your uncle didn't treat you as well.
The loan payments are going in the right direction, well done.0
