    Hey Starnac

End of next week they said. They are interviewing 5 today and 3 next tuesday.

I can't see that i would get it - someone with A Levels in science will probably go in and be just what they need!

    Good Experience though! x

Thanks Bella. I have applied for another 2 jobs yesterday. Will just need to keep applying until i get something!

Low on money at the moment. Pay day next friday so i will be looking forward to that. I can make loan overpayments next week of £100 from me and whatever OH has left.

Had to pick DD1 up from her last day of school an hour early due to one of her migraines :( Poorly baby. I hate that she has to suffer from them :(

Nice call from hubby today - he won a national trust pass fro ma competition her entered! That's a free day out in the holidays :D

    Surveys going well

Total for this week = £44.78
That includes that £35 study i completed. Paid me for it already. Need to put it back in a christmas fund :D

Well done on the survey money, that will come in handy at christmas.

Your poor DD , hope she is feeling better. Shame she had to leave her last day of school early.

Thanks Wendz. I am hoping it will make quite a dent in our Xmas spends. We are going to cut down a bit this Xmas I think. (unless I suddenly nd up in a full time job!!)

Been thinking about post debt goals. Other than saving for a house deposit there are things I want to start doing.

    * Florida in 2014
    * Hubby and I to go to another Grand Prix
    * Go on a proper family holiday abroad every year
    * Savings accounts for the kids
    * Shop more locally with our farmers
    * Arrange more experiences for DDs like going to a west end show, going to a concert etc

In regards to savings accounts I have been thinking a lot about the kids. They don't have an account at the moment. I am thinking of opening them 2 accounts each. One in their names and one in our names to save for them.
In their named accounts they can add birthday money and saved pocket money and we will add a small bit each month so they can see it grow. Then in the other account we would save a set amount a month to help them out with Uni/first car/house deposit.

My boss charged his daughters £150 rent a month though they didn't need it really. The kids moaned but what he did was save all the money they had paid him in an account to give to them when they bought a house! I thought this was a lovely thing to do!

I do want to open a wedding fund. This may sound a bit premature seeing as our DDs are 9 and 6. But when/if they get married I want to have a bulk amount to be able to help them out as much as we can. I have seen so many parents recently trying to find the money to help with weddings. I'd love to plan ahead for this.

We also need to plan for DSS too. I think perhaps saving half of what we do for DDs is fair as he will get from his Mum too.

Well that's my saturday morning ramblings :D

Today I am mainly watching the golf. Off to dads and step mums this afternoon and then family film night to watch Beetlejuice :)

    Sounds like some lovely goals.

I would love to go to florida again (haven't been since i was a kid) but think its best to wait till DD and any other children we have are old enough to appreciate it.

The savings accounts sound like a good idea as well. We are lucky that DD got a bit of inheritance from her Great Grandma as i can't really afford to save for her at the moment but we are hoping to add to it later.

Have a nice rest of the weekend.

We took DD1 to Florida when she was a year old. MIL and FIL have a timeshare so we dont need to pay for accommodation which it great!

Last night was family film and the kids loved Beetlejuice! I think i had forgotten most of the storyline!

Up thins morning to make a picnic. Our friends have gone camping about an hour away so we are going to drive to see them and go for a walk! Gorgeous and sun here this morning! Then off to MIL's for dinner. So a fair MSE day!

Overpayment on loan tomorrow! Woohoo! :D

OMG bit sunburnt on my shoulders yesterday :( I dont generally burn so i got a bit caught out!

Lovely day. We drove out to our friends campsite and had a picnic and a paddle in a ford with them. Then we came home for a bbq and a walk at MIL's. A lovely day and just a bit of diesel as our cost :D

Off you work today. Really can't be arsed with this week. My boss (my uncle) isnt back until tomorrow so i am not looking forward to the rest of this week.

I hope everyone is well x

Your goals sound really positive, me and OH have been talking about similar things like having more family days out etc

Hope work isn't to bad today and the rest of the week xx
