    Afternoon Diaryland

Had a lovely lie in this mornnig and now i feel ready to go.

Going to make a new declutter area list and start getting on with it again! I want there to be nothing in this house that shouldn't be here :D

Keeping up with surveys - £7.90 this week in total. Not as good as last week but i have originally thought i would be happy if i got about £3-4 a week. £23.90 in two weeks is great!

Nothing much to do today - ballet runs for the kids and decluttering

    I hope everyone is well.

Checked my loan balance after my regular payment has come off and it is now

    £3605

At the beginning of June it was £4114 so i am pleased so far! x

At the moment i have £35.00 to my name with £25.00 to come out. On the 7th of the month that is pretty dire but in 2 weeks i get £134 child beneft. That will be £100 as an overpayment and £34 for me. So technically i could use £34 of one of my online pots to have as money now. I have definitely overspent this month on various things but i can see it in my spends book. Going on a trip to Exeter didn't help. That cost me £65. Though i feel August may not be a great month as the kids are off so we obviously spend extra! Need to start planning our time off to cover childcare for 6 weeks!

A new mini goal - to get through August unscathed and managed to still overpay the loan!

I'm sure you'll make it through August - forward planning and a bit of organisation and you'll be fine.

I'm mid de-cluttering at the minute. Done conservatory, lounge, kitchen and hallway. I've decided to shove everything that doesn't belong in these rooms or have a place into our spare room then at the end of the weekend we only have the spare room to decide what to do with things i.e. charity, tip, ebay etc. If it's all in one room and the rest of the house clear if feels easier to me - weird I know :rotfl:

Good luck with the overpayments. You've done well so far. We'll be there before you know it!

    xx

That is a great total on the surveys in two weeks, is good you are getting into it!

The loan is coming down nicely, that is brilliant in just over a month!

Hopefully you will get through the month, I am sure you can do it.

Woohoo - i got onto the survey forum thing

    5-10 mins a day for a week and £35 reward! :D:D:D

That will help with xmas - i should have a big survey total week coming up :p

Nothing much to say today - more problems at work. A big confrontation coming up soon which will be tonnes of fun!

Ohter than that we had DD2's meeting with her teacher and all is good. She is above average, always happy, helpful and throws herself into everything they ask her to do - proud mummy.

Off for a run in a bit - not motivated at all for that today but quorn burger and curly fries means tonight should be the night for a run!

£2 extra in my jar - £40 saved for xmas :D

Day off tomorrow - will be spending some time researching making a quilt :D Plus it is my oldest brothers 25th birthday and as my Mum is over we are having him, his fianc!e and our niece over for a fish and chip dinner :D

£35 is great, that will be a brilliant boost to the xmas fund. I just got accepted to do another food diary for a week for £10 voucher so pleased with that.

Well done to your dd on being so good at school.

Hope you enjoyed fish and chips yesterday.

This week has gone by so quickly!

The girls last day of ballet until Sept today! I get my Saturdays back! Woohoo!

Trying to arrange childcare for the holidays is proving a headache. Will get there in the end!

Had a lovely family film night with snacks last night and spent today with my Mum as she has been away for a week and i missed her :A

DD1 has 2 parties tomorrow so will be out from 2 until 8pm. Will have to decide on something to do with DD2.

Surveys are going well. I am partaking in that £35 one this week, also a texting survey thing for £4 and OH is doing an internet monitor thing for £5! Not bad going!

Including the £4 text one i have done £12.40 this week. £37.30 in 3 weeks :j

Off to a friends house in a min for a bbq - she doesnt want any food so though we might buy her some flowers on the way.

Need to sit down and look at my money situation as i havent logged my little spends for a few days so not quite sure where i am now!

Oh and i have a job interview on tues! Not holding out too much hope as it is in the NHS and usually they are internal anyway and they just have to advertise and interview for the job as a procedure!

    Hey orangefairy

I came across your diary last night I've read it from the start and subscribed, I'll pop in see how your doing :)

Your hammering those surveys well done keep up the good work :)

Good luck on Tuesday don't feel negative I work for nhs and they do pick external candidates over internal a lot of the time, the interview procedure tends to be on a points system so make sure your answers are nice and detailed and youll be fine

    Have a good day xx

Welcome Bella and thanks for the tips. Just started feeling nervous now! It is for a trainee pharmacy technician role. I am currently in accounts. I am just going to try and get across my OCD traits to point out i would be meticulous in this kind of job.

Just finishing my last question for the £35 study i have been doing this week!

Great weekend - gave a bottle of southern comfort for a friends birthday which OH recieved and doesnt drink. His mate loved it so excellent - they threw a BBQ. Lovely evening - good food and company.

DD1 had parties - spent £5 on one frined plus added a couple of items i have in my 'stash'. Then in my stash i spotted a Meccano set i bought that was £15 down to £5 a year ago. So that was perfect for the other friend. So did okay. MIL is home so mice meal cooked for us tonight.

One more week left of school for the kids! Woohoo xx

    Job interview today

Went well i think - though came out realising i hadn't said half the things i wanted to!!

They had over 100 applicants and are only interviewing 8 people but it is for 2 jobs.

It will be a bit bittersweet either way.

If i get it then yay but i will have to make huge sacrifices on the family front. Loooots of studying and 6 weeks away with accomodation at college. Plus full time hours mean i can't take the kids to school or pick them up at all :( But it is a huge opportunity.

If i don't get it then i don't have to upset my children's lives for the sake of a career.

    Big sigh!
