Sounds like you are doing pretty well moneywise despite all the extra spends.

I would start doing the surveys again if you have time, i have been doing really well getting vouchers for christmas.

    Hi Choc and Wendz

Just spent an hours of so with a nice new book to record our survey accounts :D I have listed all logins and passwords and started a balance at the top and will add to it as we go along.

My target is to have enough to buy one of DD's ipod touches for xmas :D

    Balances at the moment

    Valued Opinions £19.05
    Opinionbar £11.10 (hubbys)
    Opinionbar £8.90 (mine)
    Panelbase £0.50 (mine)
    Panelbase £1.00 (hubbys)
    Onepoll £7.70 (hubbys)
    Onepoll £17.30 (mine)

I also have £34 saved in my sealed £2 pot - need to start that up again as i have been spending them for a while while money was low!

Need to get ahead of ourselves for xmas and maybe start buying soon. I have worked out out loan overpayment schedule. If we overpay £200 a month we are looking at it being paid off in March (using two council tax free months). If we overpay by £300 then it will be Feb (not using the extra £250 saved from council tax)

Obviously we do have dec in the middle of that so i am concerned we may not be able to pay that month.

All looking good at the mo! :D

Good idea to have the book to keep track of the survey sites. I have created a spreadsheet and helps me to see which are close to payout etc.

Hopefully being organised for christmas will mean you can keep on track with the debt payments.

    Hellooo diary!

    Things are going okay.

Was a bit disappointed that OH had only £50 left from his wage packet which meant we failed on overpaying by £200 as we only did £150. But still okay. He has given me £100 to overpay though which is £50 from June and £50 out of this pay cheque. If we try and be really good and manage £200 more from this month we will be back on track

So my loan balance was £3912 and now it is £3762! Woohoo. My normal payment will come out on the 4th which knocks another £160ish off it! So fingers crossed it should be sub 3.5k in July!

OH has £150 paid to him for a website. Not sure if he wants to treat us with that or overpay with it. Ill let him decide as her worked for it.

Surveys - Made £16 on surveys this week! I am really pleased with that. I don't normally do that much but one of the technology sites sent my 2 worth £3.20 each and i got them both. None today but always quiet at the weekend

Need to total up our grocery spends. I may get hubby to take out the remainder of our budget in cash so we can see how quick it is going! I am now noting down every penny i spend!

Started my £2 coin collecting again - it was on hold for a bit but 2 more i got yesterday are in my sealed pot making it £38 :T

Need to start planning for xmas a bit. I have a couple of presents already.

Off to get the kids lunch. Today we have ballet lessons, then DD1's friend is coming for a sleep over. She is so excited. Will just be a film night with some sweets i think! Also have to decide what to to with the 2 packs of diced beef in the fridge - they need to be used or frozen! Not sure where or not to make a casserole and then freeze it! - will have to see.

Don't be disappointed that you only overpaid by £150. That's still a great amount to overpay by.

Well done to DH on getting paid extra money. I wonder what he will decide to do with it?

Sounds like you've got a busy day today. Hope the sleepover goes well

Thanks Choc and Starnac. I need to be a bit positive about what we have done.

Had a great weekend. Visited a friend on Sunday and found 4 geocaches where she lives. Had a lovely picnic on the coast. Spends were £2 parking, DD1 ice cream £1.30 and DD2 fudge £1.94. So not bad for a lovely day out.

Running is going okay. Don't think I Am shifting any weight though :(

BIG CONFESSION - On a trip to Exeter the other da I treated myself to a Cath Kidston bag! £55 down to £40. I absolutely love it and needed a new bag and ths is exactly what I was after! I am counting is as a £20 expense this month and then the £20 from our budget for badminton for next month as I don't play in the school holidays :D I LOVE it soooo much!

MSE things today- worked, started a spiral A5 book to log my spends so I don't lose track, started another book to start planning presents for Xmas and birthdays and hubby made a batch lot of casserole and soup for lunches :)

Good news- our electric and gas has reduced from £107 to £76 :j saves me £31 a month! This is about right for over the year. If they reduce it like last time I'll tell them to put it back up! Right off for a cup of tea........

    Morning all

Not done too much this morning

£1.50 on surveys and updated my spends book. Technically i don't have any money left now if i want to overpay by £130 this month (my target of £100 plus the £30 saved from E*O*N)

However i think i maybe looking more at still overpaying £100 and that £30 will get used. To save £100 out of the £168 i have left ends up being quite hard by the time little things add up.

Will see how it goes. Off to sort out photos today. Having a relaxing-ish day! Transferred that £150 from paypal to my account. Will see what hubby wants to do with it! x

    Quiet day today .
Worked 9-3 and then got the kids from school. Only a 10p survey today.

Dinner from stores. The kids have chicken pie and roasties and we have meatballs and spaghetti to use up some mushrooms!

My mum has returned a gorgeous dress of DDs for me to e*bay. Need to get on to ebaying.

Spent some time writing in my book for present ideas. I had some ideas for homemade presents I need to start on

Watching the tennis as I type- not looking great for Murray!

Replied to an email about being part of a survey forum where i have to reply to a 5-10 min survey every dayfor a week for £35. Only 30 spots so fingers crossed i get chosen! That will help in the xmas fund! :)
