Thanks Starnac - feels good!
What a lovely day it is here today
We have a wedding to go to later and i am sooo pleased it is lovely for them
News-
Sorted out Fathers day cards today with 50% discount code. They are pretty cool. Drawn out £20 to be a wedding present to take to the evening party. Will have a drink before i leave i think to minimise spending
OH had MR T car ins renewal and it worked out £100 more than last year! Bye Mr T. He has looked online today and got it for less than he paid last year. To pay in instalments would cost another £50 on top  So we have put it on a 0% card to we can pay like we would have done but with no charge.
Not much going on. I somehow need to raise £230 to pay for ballet. I put £80 a month back for clubs but wasn't able to for a couple of months. This month had swimming to pay - £45 so only £35 left over and i don't think i will have that much. This month is not a great representation of our money as i had to pay £70 extra in total towards water and car tax as i was short last month.
Still only mid june and money is low - however we don't have much planned.
I want to take hubby for a meal for fathers day. We have a £15 voucher i got for my birthday so we will use that towards it.
Off to make lunch for my DD as i think she is about to pass out from hunger the way she is going on!Orange Fairy

Woohoo my clever OH has fixed the light on the car. If he was unable to he would have to pay £100 for a new part!
D-Day today as it is MOT time! I am dreading a phonecall from him later. We have been very lucky on the last two but he has been going on about things needed to be done for a while
With our luck at the moment it will be a massive bill
Fingers crossed it isnt!
Sunny day here so i am off out for a walk. I was going to do housework first but i know if i do that the weather will end up changing! I can do housework when i get back!
Will need to check banking later and see where i am! xOrange Fairy

Thanks Choc - no news yet!
Went for my first 'run' today
Trying to use the couch to 5k program. So 20 mins alternating jogging and walking today!
Trouble is i walked 1.5 miles to where i wanted to start running. Then i did the run which took my out to the beach where i sat for a while. The only problem was it then meant i had a 3.5mile walk back!
Knackered now but free exercise!
Housework to do now! xOrange Fairy

The car cost £250 so we are pretty happy with that.
I am sure hubby said he had money saved up towards it!
Day of working today - i feel a bit achy in my legs! Hopefully i will feel tip top for badminton tomorrow
Off to cook dinner - a pasta dish using all veg in the fridge and quorn pieces

:rotfl:ha ha, I think you need to plan your running routes better!!! :rotfl: Still like you say some decent and 'free' exercise - all good

Glad the car wasn't too bad - it's the one thing I hate each year and my car is way past it's sell by date now so just know this years is going to be the death of her
Only so much money you can throw at one car and I think she's had quite enough!
Hope the legs are less achy x0 -
Planning my routes well now - that first run i had the urge to get to the sea! Now i walk 5 mins from my house, run 10 mins out and 10 mins back
Just completed week 2 day 1 this morning! Felt that extra 30 seconds running each time!
Hubby did all the housework yesterday. I came home to all the polishing done, house hovered, clean bathroom, clean kitchen, washing done, lawn cut and kids lunches made for today
So i will not be doing much housework today other than the mess i make! Ill have some to do tomorrow. They have asked me to work thur / fri this week rather than weds/ fri so i have tomorrow off.
Need to check banking and see where i am.
Had a good fathers day - took hubby out for a meal. Used my birthday vouchers for it so cost us £23 for the 4 of us. It was really nice. £10 spent on stepdad (went in with my siblings so he had £40 of stuff) £13 spent on FIL and £7 spent on my Dad - not bad really as i can be known to go over the top.
Today will be sorting out our paperwork pile that has been haunting me - lots of to-do bits. Also need to bake a big chilli - hopefully there will be enough for one or two lunches left over!
E*O*N paid £20 into my account and not i cant log in to see why! Annoying!!!
Right off to get lunch and attack this pile! xOrange Fairy

Gorgeous summers day here and i have a list as long as my arm to get through. Lots of housework and other bits and bobs too.
I have lunch and dinner from stores today. Philly bagel for lunch and jackers for dinner. OH has his potatoes growing in the garden - we get to check them soon
Need to do bits and bobs like write to DDs trust fund accounts to change my address. Ring NHS to chase DD2's appt. Choose photos to print for new frames. We have a 250 point offer from Mr T is we do a home ins quote - might as well to get the points
Will be decluttering a bit. Wont take long as it will be areas i have already decluttered but have got a bit messy again!
Maybe start doing surveys again today - i have been off the boil with them for a few months and they are worth doing!
Also found DD2's amazon voucher today that she has had since last sept - she wants me to order her a CD today!
Thats it for me

Oppppss forgot
Money situation
OH has £120 left and i have about £5 if i put my second £50 overpayment to my loan. We wanted to overpay by a minimum of £200 a month. So we might just do that. Hubby thinks we have enough fuel and he is paid on monday. It is only food to get and a bit of money for the kids for sports day. So we have £25 to last until monday. Only food should be a bit of veg, toilet rolls and some milk i think.
I have just sent in a cheque from OH's account to pay £17 for school photos - i think that will be cashed in next months money. On monday ill get him to take out what ever he had left and then i can pay it to my loan.
We should have had more left really but had fathers day whoch cost about £50, a £50 bbq, DD's £51 trip, £20 for license renewal, and a few bits left over from last month. Plus a day trip out £24, and we haven't been very mse with shopping - something i plan to change for next month.Orange Fairy

Hey there,
You seem to be getting organsied and very much back on track. Food shopping is something we are tackling this month as been bad of late and our pockets and wastelines (though bad eating!) are taking the toll.
Sent hubby (still getting used to say that!) armed with a list to stick to and bring home after work this evening. He's better than I at shopping as I am a sucker for treats
Good luck with the de-cluttering - it's lovely when it doesn't take too long because you've done it properly before. We did massive spring clean of house this weekend just gone and it makes for easy tidying during the week. Also adopted a clean kitchen at night routien - it's so much nicer to come down to a clean and clear kitchen of a morning. Little things eh?
How's the running coming along? I've been so slack since wedding and need to lose about 1/2 to a stone. Have been good and am on combat class ton and have 3 classes booked for next week already.
