1865 for a 6 night stay at Vdara is a lot imo. Well, it depends on what room you get with that?

I'm going for a 6 night stay at Vdara next month for about 635 all in, although that is with 3 of us sharing a room.

    are you flying direct?

Just booked flights with Virgin for october.
Have been to vegas 7 times now and this year we are taking our youngest daughter and her parter out there for her 21st.
We will be flying on her birthday and ive managed to wangle invites to the clubhouse at gatwick for us all.
Ended up paying £625 return with miles+money, a heck of a lot more than weve paid in the past.

Tell me about it, for an award flight with BA the taxes alone are around £500! ;)

Sorry I forgot to mention, no I'm going indirect. Via Atlanta GA on the way out, and Detroit MI on the way back.

ahh may go some way to explain it... i'd like to go direct and go with VA (as am totting up the air miles now). so yes, that does limit it... it seems that a 'good' price for direct flights and a decent room for 6 nights is about 900pp?

Yes several times for flights-One of my favourite companies-good site, often cheaper than everyone else, completely hassle free-booked on-line-never had to call them for anything-and cashback. I'm surprised more people don't use them.

Hotels I don't usually book through a third party site as I like the flexibility of booking direct for when a better deal pops up -as I find it invariably does.

    thanks Duchy :)
I've used Expedia the last 3 times I've booked flights+hotels for various trips, without any problem. LV packages are coming up about the same price across Expedia, Ebookers, Opodo... so I thought I'd go with the one which offers the best Quidco cashback :) Ebookers is 6%, the others are 3% and 3.5% I think.

Can get direct return flights with VA (preferable as have stacked up up VA miles on other trips), 6 nights in a Vdara Deluxe Suite for £925pp in early September - and then take off about £55pp with Quidco (total: £870pp)

Having stayed at the Vdara twice before (in bigger suites), there's an outside hope that they may upgrade us :D

    seems good?
