Do slots take little money (ie, 25 cents) I'm not a gambler but would like to play?

    Thanks folks X
If you mean can you put in 25 cents then no. Slot machines only take notes now, gone are the days when you got a bucket and filled it with quarters to pop into the slotties. There are plenty of machines that you can play as little as a penny a go at though, and you still get the free drinks!!
BTW make sure you cash out any money coupons you have as they are only good for about 30 days then the money goes to the fat cats pockets. Big bug bear of mine. These coupons are supposed to be just like money, but the casinos decide that they will keep your money if you don't cash it in before a certain time.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

We are splitting our holiday, first few days in vegas we are thinking of going to the signature @mgm, looks like £60 per night +resort fees and then for the last few nights the vdara.

Both are non smoking hotels, are there any other non smoking hotels we should be considering?

Hey everyone. So its time for another Vegas trip. I'm off in three weeks. I was just looking at hotel prices, curious really to see if I could get a a bargain. I booked all my hotels in November. But I am going with my Mum and she isnt overly excited about TI (I got a good 50% off price so booked it) I thought I would check out prices for Mirage as she has wanted to stay there since she first went to Vegas in 1991. I found a great price (only £50 more than my TI reservation). However its on LowCostUSA. So here's my question........I did have a question took me a long to get there but I do have one..........LowCostUSA any good? I've never used them before. Anyone had any problems with them? They say the resort fee is included??? I cant see that being right?? Also while I'm asking. I got some cashback from my Expedia booking if I cancel that booking now do I have to give the money back? Cheers everyone.

I've also booked with LowCostUsa for one of my hotels for trip in April. I asked on this forum if anyone had used them and there were a few - all with no problems.
Also if you look on the Trip Advisor Las Vegas Forum and do a search there are lots of good reviews for the company.

If the price states 'Resort Fee Included' then you don't pay when you get there. Again, people said they have had no problem re this at the hotel - so its a nice saving!

Wishing everyone some magic fairy pixie dust for luck!

    Errrr.....
The Platinum. no resort fee, free wifi, free use of the gym, no casino, 6 minutes walk from Ballys or Flamingo. Top 3 hotel on Trip Adviser.

Can I have my cheque now.

Talk nicely to the reception staff at the Signature, they'll waive the resort fees. Great hotel, highly recommended. ;)

I remember reading somewhere that if you tell the Tropicana reception that you don't want to pay the resort fee upon check-out, then they'll waive out. I didn't really believe this but when we were checking out last June, I told the lady that we hadn't really used any of the features that come with the resort fee, and so we didn't really want to pay it, and straightaway she took it off our bill. Amazing, I couldn't recommend Trop highly enough.

    hey everyone

am itching to go back this year and been checking flight prices nearly every day! Direct flights seems to average out at about £700pp return (with Virgin) - do you think there'll be any chance these will drop before the end of the year? Would ideally go in September, will there be any sales for flights then, or are we going to have face the £700pp cost?

just did a quick Expedia search and can get a 6night stay at the Vdara for 1865 all in, which is tempting...

1865 for a 6 night stay at Vdara is a lot imo. Well, it depends on what room you get with that?

I'm going for a 6 night stay at Vdara next month for about 635 all in, although that is with 3 of us sharing a room.
