UGGs were one of the things I was hoping to buy when there a couple of weeks ago. I checked the miracle mile shops, town square, fashion show mall and south outlets and the cheapest I could find classic tall boots for was $165 (south outlets but none in my size) in all other stores classic talls were $195+. I came home with no UGGs :-(

I'm after the mini ones so hopefully will find them no bother, all got a converse request so need to suss whether outlets are cheaper and have a good selection, only have three days so trying to plan!

Currently looking at the "Food and Beverage Credit!" for places like MC and MGM via smartervegas.

smartervegas says "Stay a minimum of two nights at the Monte Carlo and receive $50 Dining Credit during your stay!"

Monte Carlo via the link says "Book Now and Receive up to $50 in Food and Beverage Credit".

Is it simply the case that if you book the 2 nights you get the full credit ($50 at MC), and that the phrase "receive up to" is simply misleading.

It says up to, because you charge to your room and then it is credited when you check out, if you only charge $40 to your room during your stay thats all you get

Thanks for all your shopping replies, is there a way to get discount at Nordstrom? I know that outlets etc have coupons for their stores and that Macy's has an International Visitors discount but anything for Nordstrom?
We shop at Nordstrom everythime we go to Vegas, so if there were a form of discount available I think we would know about it, so I don't think there is any. Macy's has a visitor discount of 11%?
That you can sign up for, but there are exclusions on the departments you can use it in.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Does anyone have any experience of 3 people sharing a room? I'm staying at Harrah's next month for a week with 2 mates (all male). Originally, there were due to be 4 of us in 2 rooms, but when 1 withdrew, we were left with an awkward number so we decided to go with just the one room so that nobody feels excluded. Now that the time is drawing nearer, the idea of "top 'n' tailing" is becoming less appealing and I was wondering if anyone here would know whether a room with 3 beds is something that might be obtainable? Alternatively, I'm considering taking an inflatable mattress.

    Thanks!

Had to think about what 'top'n'tailing' meant there, was thinking it was some sort of washing technique you were planning. :rotfl:

I'm thinking you'll also pay a surcharge for a third adult in a room as well. Have you checked that and factored that in? I'm sure Platinum sofas are sofa beds. If you get a 2 queen room then there's the sofa bed. If you are interested in that option send a PM to Stoneman or I, we can give you a contact that will be able to tell you if it's possible, and also maybe give you a good rate.

Desert Rose has bigger options, even 2 bedroom suites, with sofa in living room. Options on strip are very limited/expensive. Remember if you get an airbed you'll also need some sort of bedding for it. Or maybe you could get a king bed so none of you feel left out too :rotfl:

Agree with Lesley that technically there is an additional charge for each adult over 2...some will just not bother to mention the 3rd person (wouldn't go to check-in with all 3) and ask for an extra key...issue could be that the 3rd person not on the booking can't get into the room if he loses his key - he can't get a spare made as he's not on the reservation.

Whether it's worth worrying about or not is your call...load of people get away with it...I don't like worrying about getting caught so wouldn't do it myself.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Thanks Lesley & Ferf!

I've already booked Harrah's through ebookers and stated that there are 3 of us, so we have been charged appropriately. I've asked for a room with 2 beds. So are you saying that there should be a sofa bed there too Lesley? I would be interested to speak to your contact please.

Thought it meant the stage was dark, ie: no show.
