Thanks for the advice guys. Yes, I am aware of the restrictions on kids, thanks.

With regards to Florida, most people would be fine driving there:D This year, i drove over there. I hadn't driven at all for 14 and a half years and I was fine. So if I can do it -anyone can:D How is the driving in Vegas. Is it really fast paced or is it laid back? As you can see, i'm not exactly a driver and don't particularly like it, lol. I'm considering it :eek:as it may be easier to do other stuff off the strip.Thanks.

Are you the lady on the Dibb with Happy in your name?

Ive driven in Florida and also Las Vegas. LV is pretty easy, especially on the outskirts. The Strip on Saturday night was hair raising and I wouldn't like to repeat that (but I'm a driving wimp).

Thanks Karen :-) ... I don't want to move away from the LV thread here, but in short just a week away at the end of March, somewhere with a bit of sun, relaxing, shopping, good food, easy to get around preferably no car, minimal transfer at the other end - well that's Vegas then!! If only it was on the east coast!

Well, you'd get all that in Miami, but you wont get such a nice hotel as cheaply as Vegas, sadly.

How's the weather in LV in March?

Hiya-:D yes it's me ,lol. You can't be a bigger driving wimp than me :oOh how I wished I didn't have to drive every single day this year. We had a villa, so had no choice. At least in vegas, it won't be every single day.

We only took the car out twice (in a six day stay) :o

thanks for people's suggestions to this before :)
has anyone been to, and recommend, Miami? Package prices there don't seem toooo bad and it should be a little warmer than here at easter time!

I know this is the LV forum, but recommendations from fellow Vegasites will be much more appreciated ;)

How about Atlantic City. Casinos, beach and on East coast.

Ok so less than three weeks to go till our three night full on trip! I have a list of things I'm looking for:

    Ugg Boots
    Hunter Wellies
    Converses
    Poss iPad

Any info as to prices/best place to buy? And for the iPad is it worth it or stick to the UK? Are the outlets cheaper or not really?

I'm excited to share this knowledge with my husband as he REALLY loves shopping :rotfl: thanks in advance!

There are Converse shops at both north and south premium outlets, you can get shoes from as little as $15-20... not sure about the rest

The ipads are about £60-£70 cheaper than here. You will just have to buy a U.K. plug for them when you come home, about £3 on fleabay. The warranty is worldwide. I have bought 4 of them in Vegas now. I wouldn't bother with the iPad 3, not a lot of difference than the 2, doesn't run that much faster and the retina screen you really don't notice. It is actually a bit heavier than the 2 and takes a full 8 hours to charge up.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

My son bought an ipad2 this year in Frys, he decided not to pay extra $150 for the 3 as he is only 10 and wouldn't notice the difference in retina display or camera quality.

We originally intended to buy from Apple store in Townsquare but the morning we went it was closed for staff training so wandered over to Frys. He paid $377 inc tax. Which was actually cheaper than the Apple store. However we went to buy another one on a different day and was $382,they said it can change depending on offers etc.
