We went two years ago and absolutely loved it, we're planning to go again next year. I assume you've seen them on tv? If you like their telly stuff then you'll love the show :D
I went to see Penn and Teller on 24th September. They were AMAZING. It was my friends choice to go, I wasn't to bothered. So glad I did and a bonus was we got to meet them after the show. As we were leaving the theatre they were both stood having photograghs and signing whatever with everyone. They both waited for everyone which I though was brilliant.
As for the cost, there are loads of coupon books on the strip offering buy one get one frees tickets.

    ah, ok, I see now.

personally, I would not want to change rooms for my last day...somehow I misread and it was the first night you were thinking about booking a different room to then check into the suite for the remainder...but I can see how it might be worth it if the suite is a lot bigger...though will be a big let-down for the last night...but maybe you won't mind by then. At least all your stuff will be packed early and won't have to do it the last day. :)

After a couple of beers last night I came to the same conclusion about not wanting to change rooms for the last night.

Just book Signature at MGM for 6 nights (Sunday 18th to Saturday 24th November) for £363 (so about £468 with resort fee). Happy with this as we like the MGM in general and the surrounding hotels.

Now just need to book somewhere for Saturday 17th (the day we land).

We are wanting to go to the fashion outlet and premium outlet North, do you think it would be worth renting a car for the day? We have a quote for about 40$ for the day. I'm finding it really hard to plan the public transport.

If you don't want the hassle of hiring a car for 1 day why not take public transport to the outlet mall & then a cab back and sit in comfort surrounded by all your goodies and bargains :)

If you look on Expedia for your sat night (I just did and then list by price low to high) you get sat night 17 Nov starting from £25.00 per room NOT per person.

Original budget for accommodation was about £400 - £500 so a cheap deal would be the sensible option.

However, I am thinking about booking somewhere that I might fancy staying at in the future (although I am not sure if 1 night will give much of a insight).

Just a point. There is a bus which takes you directly from the new york new york to the outlet Mall, in fact the mall is the first stop, as it takes you along the freeway. This is called the Wax it is the airport express, also only costs $2 each way. On the way back it drops you off between tropicana and hooters. The only set back is it only runs hourly. Another point, is you can stay on and it will take you into freemont. The plus with this is the return bus stop is directly outside of binions. We used this bus last November whilst we were there, and found it better than the deuce or the express. Also it is nowhere near as full.
    Hope this helps someone.

Not so sure they wont be charged as most 3rd person supplements are added at check in/out AFAIK.

Even if they are not charged the supplement they could still be charged for the rollaway unless housekeeping forget to add it, which they often do

I can see that they would charge for an extra bed - as the room is listed as having 2 queens or whatever. However, I think it is pretty unfair if someone books through a third party based on 3 adults, then the hotel asks for more money for a person included in the booking that is already paid for.

That said, doesn't mean they won't try to charge. I think it would be quite wrong of them to do so though.

They can try to charge all they like - I will refuse point blank. I have a receipt that says I've paid for a room, for a week, for 3 people.
