Lowcostusa.co.uk have your dates for the Sig for £374 including resort fee.

Thank you very, very, very much for that.

They also have my full week (Saturday 17th to 24th November) for £516 including daily resort fee.

Just leaving the office for the day, but will look in to it fully later.

Only heard of lowcost from on here. Is there any reason why I cannot book it on line and have to phone? Should I be prepared for any hard sell etc?

i booked online for our last stay & had to issues. We did however get charged a resort fee by NY NY which was paid for as part of our booking, but lowcostusa sorted this out with 1 simple email.

    Hi All,

Does anyone know if resort fees are included when booking a package deal through lastminute.com???

If there are additional resort fees does anyone know what they would be for MGM?

    Thanks

It should be mentioned in the Booking Conditions for the hotel, either that it is included or that is it payable to the hotel.

If it is not included, the resort fee is $25 + tax = $28 a night and includes internet access and a couple of other things.

I booked through LowCostUsa on the phone and the call was about 5 minutes - very short & sweet and no issues. Just asked for details and booked it there and then. It also included the resort fee (at Vdara)

Im off to the Signature in just over a week.
We booked 2 rooms with them over the phone.
All they ask is your chosen hotel and your dates, it was booked and paid for in about 2 mins.
  • Hey everyone! Quick question regarding that Social Rewards programme thingy. Is anyone doing it? and how did you get round the address thing when redeeming points? Obviously my address on my Total Rewards account is here in London but you cant redeem the points on Social Rewards if you live outside the USA. Has anyone found a way round it?

    Cheers

I can see that they would charge for an extra bed - as the room is listed as having 2 queens or whatever. However, I think it is pretty unfair if someone books through a third party based on 3 adults, then the hotel asks for more money for a person included in the booking that is already paid for.

That said, doesn't mean they won't try to charge. I think it would be quite wrong of them to do so though.

I think you are right, i was thinking more about direct bookings rather than third party.

With some direct bookings they dont even ask how many is in the room, as you just pay for the room, but then a 3rd person supplement is added (if they find out)

That would make more sense photome. I think that you're right, they'd definitely be charging on a direct booking at most of the strip hotels. Exceptions may exist, but probably not the 'chain' properties under CET or MGM. Come to think on it, that doesn't leave many, apart from Venetian/Palazzo/Wynn/Encore/TI (all of which I think would also charge on a direct booking). Can't believe how much of the strip is owned by the big 2!!!

I hope then that there will be no issues with the booking concerned. They just need to practice that topping and tailing now lol :rotfl:
