The discount at Macy's used to be 11% so must have changed. It also doesn't apply to Everyday Value items which you can identify as the price ends xx.98 instead of xx.99.

Any trip reports from our recent visitors?

I do enjoy reading them and getting nuggets of info and tips of things I might try out.

I have thought time and time again of doing a trip report, but the truth is i really didnt enjoy vegas at all ( except the platinum which was amazing ... And scoot city tour which was ok)

So i didnt want to start a big debate/ arguement about vegas and thought it better if i left it

I will say this though my trip to vegas wouldve been much worse without the help of this thread :)

Truth is I could go to Vegas less, I prefer sitting in a beach front bar sipping Sangria watching the sunset and having a nice grilled chicken dinner about 10pm. Our last trip I only really thought our trip started after 5 days and we arrived at the Platinum when I could relax. We have been 3-4 times a year for the past 10, and the excitement has worn off but Tracy loves it so we keep going because my only purpose in life is to make her happy. (mind we do about 4 mini trips to Tenerife a year)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

ahh that's such a shame, but at least you gave it a go :)
i think it would be interesting to hear why you weren't so keen, it might act as positive reinforcement for some or to give a different view on things :)

Élantan, sorry you didn't enjoy your trip. It would be useful to hear why you didn't like Vegas so that there is a more balanced view on the thread.

A Vegas enthusiast like me would love to hear about your trip.

I have a Samsung Tracfone from my recent USA trip that has 105 minutes of phone time due to expire on 29th Oct.

I was considering sticking it on Ebay but thought it may be of use to some one here.

I thought I could set up some kind of lending service between fellow MSE'r's if anyone's interested ?

Free to use, so long as you post it back to me - or else make an offer and it's yours (Cost $30 total).

Is this viable or should I just stick it on Ebay?

Lovely offer Blindman but just to warn you I lent out some similar phones a few years ago and they were never returned or passed on  Shame really, not much in the spirit of MSE.

Thought I may tell everyone on this thread who I've leant it to and then if they don't return it-get everyone here to badger them!

    Just a thought

Yup. Unfortunately Trikers phones (which I used first....thanks Triker) went on to someone who promptly disappeared from the site :(

Maybe next time Blindman, only to someone with a "history" on this thread?
