Have read quite a few complaints about the volume of noise @ GR from music, so may be worth looking to see if that's still an issue depending on what the meal is for
However have read the steak may more than make up for it0 -
Venetian/Pallazo is a pair of towers, so if you remove all the pairs and groups, the MGM without the signature is the biggest
My beef with the Venetian Palazzo claim is that they're called 2 different things, have their own branding, checkins, casinos, websites, etc etc. They're two different hotels run by the same group, just bundled together so they can claim theyre biggest...
If we're playing that game then you may as well claim that Mandalay Bay, Luxor, The Hotel and Excalibur form the biggest hotel in the world as all are owned by Mgm and are connected together0 -
VALUE FOR MONEY(edited)
has anyone sat in economy in the bubble on the new layout?
i can book seats in it for the return leg, but have the old layout for the outward leg.
2 available seats are directly behind each other... don't know if the OH would be happy about that!0 -

I was there in August and didnt notice it to be loud at all.
We both had the tasting menu which was $135 each - and the food and service were top notch!
The tasting menu consisted of 5 courses;
Quails Scotch Egg
Spanish Tomato Salad
Asparagus Soup
Beef Wellington
Melon Sorbet
The Southside cocktails are highly recommended.0 -

V-flyer may be a place to ask as well.
BTW
Apparently they've stopped stopped serving alcohol from the galley in economy on VS43. :eek:0 -

CASINOSglad it was quiet for you - here are a few things I'd seen (all pre-August), so hopefully they've found the volume button now

The only thing I would say is they havent really thought through the arrival process.
The team outside the restaurant confirmed our booking and told us to go inside and wait - but the waiting area is being used to seat people with no bookings and we were hanging around for 1/2 hour waiting in the corridor area for our table to be ready - not sure if they knew we were waiting.
But once we got seated it was great - ordering cocktails from an ipad is way cool and the bread selection was excellent. Would definitely recommend the Beef Wellington - best course of the night for me!0
